America’s Leaders Have Failed the Country

Joe Biden was in Ukraine on Monday, committing to send Ukrainians our tax dollars for “as long as it takes.” Through December 2022, the United States has given more than $110 billion in aid to Ukraine. This includes money to fund the Ukrainian government and to pay for pensions for Ukrainian citizens.

Yet, no American official has yet to state what victory in Ukraine will resemble. Is it a negotiated peace? The death of Putin? The return of Crimea to Ukrainian control? No one will say, most likely because the American military industrial complex needs another war to pick up the slack from Afghanistan.

Kamala Harris was in Munich at the global arms dealer convention better known as the Munich Security Conference. While there, she accused Russia of war crimes. “Harris also made clear that the world must set the example with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discourage nother autocracies from trying to go down a similar path,” ABC News reported. Harris failed to comment on how the United States will address these crimes against humanity.

Harris was joined by the Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, despite there being plenty to do at home with China sending “spy balloons” over the continental United States. Austin urged attendees to continue their financial support of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in Turkey, pledging $100 million in earthquake relief to Turkey, a NATO ally, and to Syria, not a friend to the United States.

Oh, and the head of the Environmental Protection Agency had planned to do a tour of Africa with some Hollywood elites to highlight the perils of climate change . . . a trip that was canceled over backlash from the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

And where is the secretary of transportation? Pete Buttigieg went to Louisiana to celebrate a bridge . . . likely one that promoted equity and was antiracist.

So, let’s get this straight. While a town in Ohio is suffering a major environmental disaster, the nation’s leadership flees the country to support their globalist agenda.

The people of East Palestine, Ohio deserve better. Where is the EPA? Why are men in biohazard suits telling people that the air is safe to breathe and the water is safe to drink? Is it because East Palestine is a poor, white city that voted for Donald Trump by large margins in 2016 and 2020?

President Trump will visit East Palestine on Wednesday. This is what a leader does during a time of crisis. He does not go overseas to commit to funding another endless war. He does not give our tax dollars to our enemies. He spends his own money to provide aid and comfort to those who are suffering. America deserves better than its current political leadership.
