Joe Biden’s daytime speech announcing the regime’s purported efforts to clamp down on illegal immigration was roundly ridiculed on social media Thursday as numerous gaffes and prevarications were made public.
There were nearly 2.4 million migrant arrests at the nation’s southwestern border in the 2022 fiscal year, the highest number ever recorded, according to U.S. Border Patrol data released in September, bringing the total to approximately 5.3 million illegal border crossings since Biden took office.
Amid increasing pressure from lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to address the border crisis, Biden tried to strike a tough on immigration pose, and insisted that his administration’s policies were successfully securing the border. He also attempted to blame Republicans for the border crisis, which he delicately referred to as “the situation on the southwest border.”

Disregarding the the Trump administration’s accomplishments in stabilizing the border, Biden claimed that on his first day in office, he sent a “comprehensive piece of legislation that would completely overhaul what has been a broken immigration” to Congress, “but Republicans refused to consider my comprehensive plan.”
Biden complained that “extreme Republicans” have blocked his regime’s attempts to secure the border, and said “it’s time to to stop listening to their inflammatory talk.”

In an embarrassingly mean-spirited and delusional rant, Biden mocked so-called “MAGA Republicans,” claiming that they “demagogue” the issue by saying things like “they don’t even want me speaking English anymore! They want me speaking duh duh duh! They’re gonna take over my community!'”

Biden sought to portray Kamala Harris as an immigration hawk who has been focused like a laser beam on the border crisis. “The failure to pass and fund this comprehensive plan has increased the challenges that we’re seeing at our southern border. No one knows this better than the Vice President,” he said. Strangely, Biden would later refer to Harris as “the president.”

Biden appointed Harris as his “Border Czar” in early 2021, as illegal aliens swamped the border due to his soft on immigration border policies. When Biden came to office, the border largely under control, but he dismantled all Trump’s successful policies, resulting in the ongoing crisis.
Biden nonetheless said he was “proud” of Harris’ accomplishments as Border Czar.
The RNC Twitter account was quick to point out that Biden, Harris, and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had all recently insisted that the southern border was “secure.”

Biden also touted the regime’s policy of supplying illegal border crossers with smart phones with apps as a way to streamline the immigration process.
“If they’re seeking asylum, they can use an app on their cell phone called ‘CBPOne’ … to schedule an appointment at a port of entry,” Biden said. The regime has been giving illegal aliens these smart phones since at least April of 2022.

Biden went on to claim surreally that 20,000 pounds of fentanyl smuggled over the border was “enough to kill as many as 1,000 Americans”—grossly underestimating the drug’s lethality.

According to the DEA website, just two milligrams of fentanyl—much less 20 pounds—”is considered a lethal dose.” Two mgs of fentanyl is the equivalent of “10-15 grains of table salt,” the DEA website states.
Conservative digital strategist Greg Price noted that Biden’s figure “would be enough fentanyl to kill nearly everyone on the planet.”
Biden also inaccurately referred to the CBP, the federal officers who patrol the border, as “Customs and Border Patrol.” CBP actually stands for Customs and Border Protection.

Bizarrely, Biden insisted that migrants have no idea what they’re getting into when they pay smugglers to help them cross the border.
He said, “It’s not like people are sitting around a table somewhere in Central America saying ‘I got a great idea. Let’s sell everything we have…to a coyote or smuggler. They’ll take us on a harrowing journey for 1000 miles to get to the United States. Then we’re gonna illegally cross the border. They’re gonna drop us in the desert in a place where we don’t speak the language. Won’t that be fun?'”

But a number of users corrected him, including National Review contributor Pradheep Shanker, who tweeted, “That is QUITE LITERALLY what is happening… And been happening for decades. How delusional and out of touch is he?”
Talking Points USA’s Hayden Cunningham wrote, “Actually, that’s exactly what’s happening. I know this because there are illegals being interviewed at the border saying that’s exactly what they did.”
Biden confirmed on Thursday that he would be making his first border trip on Sunday to El Paso, Texas ahead of the “three amigos” summit in Mexico.
