A top House Republican investigator says the Treasury Department is restricting access to over 150 suspicious activity reports on Hunter Biden, amid explosive new revelations coming from Biden’s “laptop from Hell,” and iPhone.
Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the ranking member on the House Oversight and Reform Committee, sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen last week, following up on a letter he sent in May.
“I wrote to you requesting information regarding Hunter Biden and other Biden associates and family members’ financial transactions flagged by U.S. banks for reporting to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) through Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). The Biden Administration is restricting Congress’ access to SARs, and Committee Republicans are investigating whether this change in longstanding policy is motivated by efforts to shield Hunter Biden and potentially President Biden from scrutiny,” Comer wrote.
The congressman said that “despite Treasury’s assertion in the press … Treasury is refusing to release SARs connected with Hunter Biden or his family and associates — including the President.”
The Treasury Department claimed in May that it provides SARs to Congress “in a manner that enables robust oversight and that is consistent with how other sensitive law enforcement information is produced” and that it “has made SARs available for every request we’ve received, regardless of party, and will continue to do so.”
“This is not true,” Comer declared in his new letter. “During a phone call on June 13, 2022, Treasury officials informed Committee Republican staff that they will not provide SARs to Committee Republicans unless Democrats join the request.”
The congressman added: “Treasury’s actions call for investigation and raise new questions about the degree to which the Biden Administration is using the federal government to provide cover for the Biden family and its associates. The American people deserve to know whether the President’s connections to his son’s business deals occurred at the expense of the United States’ interests and whether they represent a national security threat.”

Hunter Biden was “well aware” that his business transactions with foreign prostitutes were red flags that could trigger suspicious activity reports to the Treasury Department, according to Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who, along with Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), issued a detailed report in September of 2020 on the Biden family’s shady influence peddling operations.
The senator told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday that Hunter Biden’s transactions with China (totaling $119,095.31, according to the New York Post) could go a long way toward explaining why his father has gone soft on China since becoming president.
Johnson—who is poised to become the chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations after the GOP’s likely takeover of congress next year—said that Hunter was also “highly concerned about payments he was making to nonresident individuals who appear to be connected to an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring.”
Johnson and Grassley alleged in their report that the Obama administration knew Hunter’s work for Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings prevented “the efficient execution of policy with respect to Ukraine” during Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president.
The report also revealed that Hunter Biden had business associations with Chinese nationals linked to the Communist government and People’s Liberation Army resulting in millions of dollars in questionable cash transactions. The Senate investigation also found links between Hunter Biden and Eastern European human trafficking, the adult entertainment industry, and/or prostitution.
The younger Biden’s search history on his laptop revealed an obsession with porn, according to a recent Daily Mail report, “including incest fantasies, ’18yrs old’, ‘lonely widow’ porn, ‘MILF crack cocaine porn’, as well as instructions on how to hack a lover’s cell phone and repeated google searches of himself.”
Some of the new material is highly disturbing.
Screenshots from another explicit video show Hunter left a woman tied up on his bed with a red stocking over her head while he went out to get pastries. He returned, and took a screenshot as he munched on a sandwich and laid a chocolate croissant out in front of the hooded and trussed woman.
Text messages also suggest that Hunter sent a link to a Pornhub page to a phone number he had saved in his contacts book as ‘Dad’ on October 22, 2018.
In addition to the laptop disclosures, a 4chan user who claims to have hacked into the iCloud of Hunter Biden’s iPhone and iPad, released even more salacious content from his voice mails, videos, voice recordings, and pictures, including lurid photos and videos of Hunter using drugs, having sex with women, frolicking naked in pools, and conducting searches on porn sites.
On one porn site, he allegedly searched for videos of 12 year old girls, according to a document posted by 4Chan. Biden apparently shared the iPad—which includes a contact named “Pedo Pete”—with his niece Natalie. The 4Chan community believes “Pedo Peter” refers to Joe Biden, although this is not entirely clear. The moniker appears to have been assigned by Natalie Biden, who is the daughter of Beau and Hallie Biden. Hunter Biden reportedly had a scandalous affair with Hallie after Beau died.
A screen grab posted by 4Chan users also shows text messages between Hunter and Hallie claiming there are “5 guns in dads(sic) house,” and “more weapons in your sons(sic) room then(sic) in an armory.”
Hunter Biden appears to have broken the law when he purchased the .38 -caliber revolver from a Federal Firearms Licensee (gun dealer) in October of 2018, despite his long-standing drug and alcohol abuse.
In order to acquire the gun, Hunter had to complete an ATF Form that asked a series of questions about his eligibility to possess a firearm. He responded “no” to a question on the transaction record that asks, ‘Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?’”
Federal law prohibits the possession of firearms by anyone “who is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance.”
Eleven days after he bought the gun, Hallie Biden tossed it into a trash bin near a school in Wilmington, Delaware.
Although he allegedly owns five guns himself, Joe Biden on June 2 gave a speech in which he demanded that Congress enact a number of gun control measures, including the criminalization of private firearm transfers. “We should expand background checks to be—keep guns out of the hands of felons, fugitives, and those under restraining orders,” Biden said.
The ATF in January asked a federal judge to dismiss the Hunter Biden gun inquiry.
The FBI has possession of the laptop that was left at the Wilmington computer repair shop, and a federal investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings is allegedly ongoing.
Johnson noted that Joe Biden has “perhaps unwittingly” supported his son’s decadent and lawless lifestyle.
Records from the “laptop from Hell” show that the elder Biden wired his now 52-year-old son $100,000 to help him pay bills from December 2018 through January 2019.
“The fact of the matter is, Hunter’s computer is a treasure trove of information,” Johnson said, adding that he is concerned that Biden’s Treasury Department and Justice Department may be using SAP’s to target conservatives and protect the Bidens.
“We don’t have equal justice. We have a two tier justice system—one that will treat with kid gloves or cover up for Democrats, and their powerful friends, the elite, and the rest of America,” Johnson said. “I think we’re seeing that big time with Hunter Biden and all of his very suspicious transactions.”
