Twitter Suspends Accounts Threatening Libs of Tik Tok After Elon Musk Comes to Her Defense

Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Monday came to the defense of the woman behind the popular Twitter account “Libs of TikTok” after she complained that she had received multiple death threats, and that Twitter was doing nothing about it.

“I have now received about a dozen death threats after radical leftists accused me of being a domestic terrorist extremist,” tweeted Libs of Tik Tok. “Twitter has not removed any of the accounts of those who sent the threats.”

In response, Musk, who is in the process of acquiring the social media site for $44 billion, tweeted: “Why @Twitter?”

The Post Millennial’s Ian Miles Cheong replied: “On a just platform, everyone would be treated equally. As it is, you can be banned for merely criticizing (not even threatening) woke progressives, but they can send conservatives death threats without any repercussions.”

To which the billionaire tech mogul responded: “A platform cannot be considered inclusive or fair if it is biased against half the country.”

Libs of TikTok, who was doxed by the Washington Post’s Taylor Lorenz last month, has amassed over a million followers. The account collects bizarre and alarming videos that are posted on Tik Tok by leftists, and shares them on Twitter. Her focus in the past year has been exposing educators who speak openly about grooming children with LGBTQ+ ideology. She has also exposed teachers who admit to pushing critical race theory on young children. During Pride Month, her focus has been on exposing degenerate LGBTQ events around the country that are geared toward children.

Libs of Tik Tok posted some of the death threats she has been receiving, including a pipe bomb threat that she shared with the FBI.

Another Twitter user threatened to kidnap her and torture her “daisy’s destruction style,” in reference to a horrific rape/torture video made by convicted sex trafficker and child rapist Peter Scully.

Another person threatened to murder her parents.

Libs of Tik Tok tweeted late Monday night that she would be moving to “a safer location” due to the barrage of death threats.

On Tuesday, Libs of Tik Tok announced that following Musk’s tweet, all of the accounts that had threatened her were finally suspended from Twitter.

Twitter user StevenVoiceOver created an “epic” video dramatizing the these events.

Late Monday, Libs of Tik Tok reported on her Substack that she had obtained internal Slack messages of Twitter employees debating whether to permanently ban her account. The account has been suspended three times in recent weeks for posting material that is inconvenient to the left.

Her most recent Twitter suspension came just last week after she posted fliers of various “kid friendly” gay pride events around the country.

I had created a “mega drag thread” which documented the sharp rise in drag events for kids. It’s a disturbing trend; the Left has become obsessed with ensuring your 4-year-old has access to men dressed as women while dancing provocatively for cash. The fact that I was noticing—and drawing attention to how widespread this trend really is—seemed to trigger the Left. Big accounts on Twitter started calling for my suspension while labeling me a “domestic terrorist.”

A Twitter employee who wishes to remain anonymous leaked the below Slack conversation between Twitter employees that occurred earlier Monday. Libs of Tik Tok said the names of the employees were verified before they were obscured.

One of the more level-headed employees fussed that permanently banning the popular account would “erode trust in our platform from users who already think we’re irredeemably biased against conservatives.”

Another Twitter employee objected, and blamed Libs of Tik Tok for “empowering white supremacists/fascists to act with impunity in conducting harmful emotional and physical violence on trans folx(sic) and the broader LGBTQ+ community.”

“Trans people are being targeted for genocidal violence during Pride Month,” the employee wrote.
