Carolina Panthers Announce New ‘Transgender’ Member of Cheer Squad

The Carolina Panthers announced that their first “transgender” member of the cheerleading squad, producing the first such “transgender” cheerleader in the NFL.

As reported by Breitbart, 29-year-old Justine Simone Lindsay, a man who believes he is a woman, announced on Instagram that he had joined the Panthers’ TopCats cheerleading squad.

“Cats Out the Bag you are looking at the newest member of the Carolina Panthers TopCats Cheerleader’s @topcats as the first Transgender female,” he wrote in the post. “I would like to thank the beautiful and talented dancers who supported me along the way alumni TopCats family and friends for your love and support.”

TopCats director Chandalae Lanouette issued a statement saying that “my goal is to create a team of individuals that are absolute fire on the field but are incredible human beings in the locker room, good friends, good people.”

“And at the end of the day,” Lanouette continued, “you have to walk through the door first to get to that spot.”

“I’m happy because I was able to break down that door and tell people, hey, we are not just sexual beings,” Lindsay continued on Instagram. “We are actual human beings who want to better ourselves. I felt like why not tell the world — hey listen, this is a great accomplishment.”

Although there have been male members of NFL cheerleading squads in the past, this marks the first time that someone who openly identifies as transgender – a mentally ill person who believes that there are more than two genders, and that one can simply change their gender at any given time – has been recruited for an NFL cheer squad.
