Report: Biden Regime Sends Pallets of Baby Formula to Texas Border Holding Facility Amid Nationwide Shortage

The Biden administration is reportedly sending pallets of baby formula to migrant holding facilities at the border amid a nationwide shortage that has left American parents scrambling to find it in their local stores.

A Florida congresswoman said that a border agent sent her photographs of shelves stocked with Advantage Baby Formula in the facility, and she posted one of them onto social media.

“They are sending pallets, pallets of baby formula to the border,” Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) said in a video posted to Facebook.  “Meanwhile, in our own district at home, we cannot find baby formula.”

Baby formula, a necessity for many new parents, has indeed become difficult to find all across the country, and the shortage has hit Texas particularly hard.

According to CBS News, parents in North Texas “are driving to multiple stores and pharmacies a day to try to get the baby formula they need, only to be met with empty shelves.”

Retailers like Target, CVS and Walgreens are starting to limit the amount of formula people can buy at one time. Getting those precious cans has become a full-time job for many desperate parents.

“It just shouldn’t be this hard,” said Sydney Moseley, a Wise County mom with nine-month-old twin boys. “It’s terrifying. It’s terrifying.”

Moseley’s sons were born premature, and she thought getting them through multiple health scares and home from the NICU would be their family’s biggest challenge – until the formula shortage hit.

“It has taken a toll on me, on my husband, my pocket book,” she said. “Not to mention all our hours searching, and we absolutely hate to be desperate for anything.”

While families in Texas desperately search to find formula for their babies, the Biden regime has reportedly made sure the needs of illegal aliens are covered.

Cammack said the border agent sent her a text message Tuesday night, saying: “‘Kat, you would not believe the shipment I just brought in.’”

She said the agent has been a border patrol agent for 30 years and “has never seen anything quite like this.”

“He is a grandfather and he is saying that his own grandkids can’t get baby formula,” Cammack said. “But he just took in pallets—pallets!—of baby formula for all of the illegals that are crossing into the United States.”

The congresswoman did not blame the migrants receiving the formula, but did blame the Biden regime for putting their needs ahead of the needs of Americans.

“It is not the children’s fault at all,” she noted. “But what is infuriating to me is that this is another example of the America Last agenda that the Biden administration continues to perpetuate.”

Commack said the picture below (on the left) was taken at the Ursula processing facility in McAllen, Texas “where thousands are being housed and processed and then released.”

She said the children are “being used as pawns,” as the Biden Regime works “hand and glove with the cartels” to traffic them across the border.

Cammack said that regardless of political affiliation, parents should have a visceral reaction to photos like the ones above.

“I don’t know about you, but if I am a mother, anywhere anytime in America, and I go to my local Walmart or Target or Publix or Safeway or Kroger or wherever it may be that you shop and you are seeing their shelves and you are seeing signs that you are not able to get baby formula. And then you see the American government sending by the pallet thousands and thousands of containers of baby formula to the border, that would make my blood boil,” she said.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green addressed the issue in front of the Capitol Thursday.

“Moms and dads all over the country—some of them—are traveling hours every day looking for baby formula as they can’t find it in their local grocery stores,” she said.

The Biden White House is holding an event Thursday on the baby formula shortage, but the press is blocked from the event, according to Fox News anchor John Roberts.

Update:

When asked during Thursday’s White House press briefing what parents should do if they can’t find any baby formula, Psaki said she would advise them to call their doctor.
