Yes We Con

Cristina Nichol Iglesias, also known as Christian Noel Iglesias and Kenneth R. West, may become the first federal prisoner to receive “gender-affirming surgery.” That invites a comparison with fellow criminal Shiloh Heavenly Quine, previously known as Rodney Quine, the first state prsion inmate in the United States to receive such surgery, all paid for by taxpayers.

In 1980, Quine and accomplice Jerry Naylor abducted Shahid Ali Baig, 33. Quine drove to a deserted area and “while the victim begged for his life, Quine shot the victim twice in the head.”  Quine and Naylor drove off with $75 of Baig’s money.

Quine is twice-married and has fathered two daughters, but once in prison he claimed to have sought female status since the age of nine. Federal Judge Jon Tigar, a Barack Obama appointee, assigned himself to Quine’s case and appointed a team of San Francisco lawyers and the Transgender Law Center to represent the convicted murderer.

On January 5, 2017, Shiloh Heavenly Quine, 57, received state-funded sex reassignment at a cost of around $100,000. Previously confined at the Mule Creek State Prison for men, the convicted murderer is now inmate WB1121 at the Central California Women’s Facility, which Quine calls a “torture unit.”

Back in 2005, Kenneth R. West, also known as Christian Noel Iglesias, pleaded guilty to threatening to use a weapon of mass destruction—anthrax—against persons in the British Foreign and Commonwealth office in London, the equivalent of the U.S. State Department. A letter containing a powdery substance, sent from the Federal Detention Center in Miami was “linked to West through DNA testing and fingerprint analysis, as well as other scientific tests.”

ABC News in Chicago reports that West had been in federal custody since 1994. Details are hard to find but the confinement must have been due to a federal crime for which West was duly convicted. In 2019, the convicted criminal filed a lawsuit claiming that since the age of 12 he sought to live as a girl. Call it a he-said-she-said kind of case.

Obama judge Nancy Rosenstengel now seeks to give the anthrax terrorist, in federal custody for nearly 30 years, what Obama judge Jon Tigar gave Rodney Quine, again at taxpayer expense. As they might note, none of the DNA, fingerprint, and “other scientific tests” used to convict the anthrax terrorist were employed to test the claim of female status. How could they? West was indisputably born male.

The claim was not based on scientific tests of  hormones, chromosomes, internal organs, and skeletal structure. It was based solely on what the convicted criminal claimed, which under any other circumstance would never hold up in a court of law. Witnesses swear to tell the truth and testimony must be verified with evidence.

Tigar and Rosenstengel show symptoms of reality dysphoria, a condition adverse to truth, science, and facts. Those afflicted with reality dysphoria are kind to criminals and callous to their victims.

“My dad begged for his life,” Farida Baig told reporters, “It just made me dizzy and sick. I’m helping pay for his surgery. . . it’s kind of like a slap in the face.” Her father’s murderer, Rodney Quine, identifies as a woman, Shiloh Heavenly Quine, and everybody must regard him as such.

Reality dysphoria is coercive, and rigorously one-sided. For example, citizens who only identify as vaccinated would not be regarded as such by the Centers for Disease Control and the Biden regime. A person who only identifies as a structural engineer would not be the best choice to design a new bridge, hospital, or public building.

On the other hand, reality dysphoria allows male criminals, including murderers, to claim that they are really women. Federal judges now accept this claim, with no scientific tests, and this too has consequences.

Inmate Demetrius Minor, also known as Demi Minor, is serving 30 years for killing his foster father. Minor impregnated two female inmates at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in New Jersey. Pregnancy is the sort of thing that happens, as the great Percy Sledge put it, “when a man loves a woman,” but these pregnancies were not taken as scientific evidence of Minor’s manhood.

If the former Kenneth R. West gets the “reassignment” surgery, that will not end the woes for federal taxpayers. Judge Tigar ordered prison officials to provide special nightgowns, scarves and such for inmates such as Shiloh Heavenly Quine, who shot Shahid Ali Baig in the head as he begged for his life.

“It’s the height of absurdity,” Kaeley Triller Haver of the Just Want Privacy Campaign told

San Quentin News. “A violent man devastated the lives of an entire family who were forced to grow up without a father, and we are sitting here wasting taxpayer dollars to make sure he feels comfortable in his new digs.” Look for such absurdity to surge as criminals game the system.

“VICTORY!” claims the American Civil Liberties Union. “Our client Cristina Iglesias was informed this week that she will be moved to a woman’s facility—a move she has been requesting since 1994.” That recalls a statement from Edwin Meese III, a counselor to President Ronald Reagan back in 1981, who referred to the ACLU and similar organizations as “what might be called a criminals’ lobby.” That lobby now includes federal judges who swear to uphold the Constitution but fail to recognize objective reality.
