Republican Senators Provide Receipt of $100,000 Payment to Hunter Biden from Chinese Oligarchs

On Monday, two Republican members of the United States Senate revealed evidence that Joe Biden’s son Hunter received payments of at least $100,000 from Chinese oligarchs.

As reported by Fox News, Senators Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) took to the floor of the Senate to provide a receipt for a payment of $100,000 from the Chinese energy company CEFC to Wells Fargo Clearing Services, with “further credit” being paid to Hunter Biden’s firm Owasco.

In his speech from the Senate floor, Johnson criticized the mainstream media’s efforts to deliberately cover up Hunter Biden’s numerous scandals.

“Over the course of our investigation into how Hunter Biden used his father’s position and name to enrich himself and his family,” Johnson said on Monday, “the dishonest press published countless stories reporting on the Democrats’ false charge that we were soliciting and disseminating Russian disinformation.”

“Once we issued our September and November 2020 reports, which were based almost exclusively on U.S. sourced documents and interviews with U.S. citizens, the media largely ignored it,” Johnson continued. “When they did write a story on it, they declared that our reports found nothing new. A classic media cover-up.” Johnson then revealed the aforementioned financial document, which he said was “the first time this document is being made public.”

“CEFC operated under the guise of a private company but was for all intents and purposes an arm of the Chinese government,” Senator Grassley explained further. “Hunter Biden and James Biden served as the perfect vehicle by which the communist Chinese government could gain inroads here in the United States through CEFC and its affiliates.”

“Bank records like this piece of evidence are pretty hard to deny and sweep under the rug,” Johnson added. “Our reports were chocked full of irrefutable evidence like this. And yet, the media buried those details, in an attempt to keep it hidden from the American people.”

Johnson was referring to a Senate report that he and Grassley wrote in 2020, detailing numerous ties between the Biden family and foreign oligarchs. Among other examples, they explained how Hunter once opened a bank account which “financed a $100,000 global spending spree” for Joe Biden’s brother James Biden, and his wife Sara.

At the heart of the numerous corruption scandals is the infamous laptop that was owned by Hunter Biden and abandoned at a computer repair shop in Delaware, first reported on by the New York Post in October of 2020. The laptop contained overwhelming evidence of Hunter’s foreign business deals, including the deliberate use of his father’s political power to gain such connections, as well as his frequent indulgence in drugs, alcohol, and prostitution. Although the Biden Administration has repeatedly and falsely described the laptop as “Russian disinformation,” several mainstream media outlets, including the New York Times, have since confirmed the laptop’s authenticity.
