Independent journalist Alex Berenson is calling for the mRNA vaccines to be halted immediately amid data that clearly shows negative efficacy in highly vaccinated countries.
COVID infections, hospitalizations and deaths are skyrocketing throughout the world in nations that have the highest vaccination rates.
Berenson, who has generally been very careful and measured in his statements about the vaccines, argued on Substack and on Fox News Tuesday night that the data makes clear that not only do the mRNA vaccines not work, they appear to be making the pandemic worse. “The mRNA experiment needs to stop. Immediately,” Berenson wrote.
On Saturday, Israel had 84,000 new infections, the equivalent of almost 3 million in the United States. Infections in Israel have risen unthinkably fast since late December. They’re are up 100-fold in one month, driven by the collapse of booster protection and the arrival of the Omicron variant.
Israel is not alone. Denmark reported 42,000 cases yesterday, equal to almost 2.5 million in the United States. France, the second-largest country in Europe, reported the American equivalent of about 12 million new infections in the last week. Australia had a tremendous surge in cases earlier this month, though it seems to be subsiding for now.
These countries have very different population demographics and previous exposure to Covid. They even have very different weather; it is summer in Australia.
What do they share, then?
Incredibly high Covid vaccination rates, mostly with the mRNA vaccines. Israel is among the world’s most vaccinated countries. More than 90 percent of Israeli adults have been vaccinated with the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. Almost 80 percent have received a booster dose, and several hundred thousand have gotten a fourth.
Yet Israel had more coronavirus infections in the last week than in all of 2020, before it began mass mRNA Covid vaccinations.
Berenson noted that data from around the world show that people who are vaccinated but not boosted are at higher risk of Omicron infection than the unvaccinated.
Recent data from Scotland showed that COVID cases were highest among the double vaccinated and lowest among unvaccinated.
Berenson argues that the data clearly show that encouraging booster shots “for anyone—including the elderly—at this point is reckless, bordering on criminal.”
“mRNA Covid vaccinations and boosters need to stop worldwide while we figure out what is happening. Not next week. Not tomorrow,” he said.
What may be happening is known as antibody dependent enhancement (ADE), a phenomenon that increases the ability of a virus to enter cells and strengthen the disease.
Two of the world’s top virologists believe ADE is driving the pandemic.
For over a year, French virologist Dr. Luc Montagnier, and Belgian virologist Geert Vanden Bossche have warned against using suboptimal, leaky vaccines to inoculate the masses against COVID.
Because the vaccines don’t prevent the transmission of the virus, they are driving “immune escape,” the virologists argue.
ADE occurs when the antibodies generated during an immune response recognize and bind to a pathogen but are unable to prevent infection. Instead, these antibodies act as a “Trojan horse,” allowing the pathogen to penetrate the cells and exacerbate the immune response, thus increasing the severity of the virus.
Montagnier—the recipient of the 2008 Nobel Prize in Medicine for his discovery of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)— called the worldwide mass vaccination campaign an “unacceptable mistake.”
As far back as last summer, Montagnier was seeing evidence from around the world that confirmed ADE was occurring.
“You see it in each country, it’s the same: the curve of vaccination is followed by the curve of deaths. I’m following this closely and I am doing experiments at the Institute with patients who became sick with Corona after being vaccinated.”
“We have been breeding variants that have a high level of resistance to the vaccine antibodies,” Vanden Bossche said during a meeting with other COVID experts, last month. Worse still, the vaccines are interfering with the natural innate immune system, he said.
During an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight Tuesday, Berenson said, “we are at a very dangerous moment.”
“In these highly vaccinated, and highly boosted countries, rates of infection are incredibly high, and rates of serious disease and death are also rising,” he told Carlson. “Israelis are predicting that they’re going to have more serious cases than they’ve ever had at the peak last year, and the idea that we would solve this with another booster is just off the charts insane,” he added.
“These mRNA vaccines need to be withdrawn from the market, now. No one should get them. No one should get boosted. No one should get double boosted. They are a dangerous and ineffective product against Omicron at this point.”
He added: “The spike that they make your body make that you then produce antibodies to, is not the Omicron spike, and earlier today, Anthony Fauci said we’re not going to give people monoclonal antibody products—the first generation products because they don’t work against the Omicron spike. The same logic applies to these mRNA vaccines.”
Berenson said that even though the boosters seem to offer short-lived immunity, “there is a boomerang effect” and that is what is being seen in the highly vaxxed countries with high COVID rates.
“There’s a problem with efficacy, and the immune response, and there’s also a problem with the dangers of the vaccines themselves,” he said, adding that none of the vaccines would be approved today because they’re ineffective against Omicron.
Pfizer is currently working on a vaccine for Omicron, but as Berenson noted, by the time the product is on the market, new variants will have already have emerged.
“So they’re going to be chasing this, and they’re going to be injecting people with something that doesn’t match the current variant forever, and the results are likely to get worse and worse,” Berenson warned. He urged people to go to his Substack and look at the data from Israel in the past couple of weeks.
“This is a country that is 90 percent adult vaccinated, more than half adult boosted. These are levels that the Democrats would love to achieve here in the United States,” Berenson said. “It’s not that it doesn’t make any difference. It seems to be making the situation worse.”
He concluded: “In any rational world, every public health authority would be calling for an immediate halt to mRNA vaccinations until we know what’s going on.”
