Biden Continues Vaccine Push Even as Data Shows More Americans Have Died With COVID So Far in 2021 Than Died in 2020

The Biden regime continues to use coercive tactics to get “the vast majority” of Americans vaccinated, even though the data suggests that the vaccines have done more harm than good.

More Americans have died with COVID-19 under Joe Biden’s watch than during the first year of the pandemic under President Donald Trump, data from John Hopkins University show.

As of Wednesday afternoon, 353,000 Americans had died this year, surpassing the 352,000 who died in 2020, according to John Hopkins’ data.

In 2020, Biden ran for president on the promise that his vaccination plan would bring the virus under control.

During the 2020 presidential campaign, Biden repeatedly blamed President Trump for every COVID death.

During a baleful speech blasting Trump’s handling of the coronavirus a year ago at a senior facility in Florida, Biden blamed him for “the empty chairs around the dining room table tonight.”

Biden told the seniors that President Trump thought they were “expendable, forgettable and virtually nobody.”

During the final presidential debate, last year, Biden stressed that Trump was responsible for every COVID death that had occurred thus far.

“If you hear nothing else I say tonight, hear this—anyone who’s responsible for that many deaths, should not remain as president of the United States of America,” Biden intoned.

The regime began its vaccine rollout by enticing people to get the experimental shot using various bribes, then moved on to more coercive tactics like threatening peoples’ employment, imposing higher health insurance rates, making it more difficult for them to travel, and even denying them health care.

The 2021 numbers show that as more Americans got vaccinated, more people died of COVID. As of Friday, 65.1 percent of Americans had been fully vaccinated, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Over 94 percent of people over the age have been fully vaccinated.

Nonetheless, in a statement on the grim 700,000-death milestone last week, Biden said “the astonishing death toll is yet another reminder of just how important it is to get vaccinated.”

He doubled down on the false narrative on Thursday, saying that “we know there is no other way to beat the pandemic than to get the vast majority of Americans vaccinated. It’s as simple as that.”

Biden also falsely asserted that people who have been unvaccinated cannot spread the virus.

On its website, the CDC states: “If you are fully vaccinated and become infected with the Delta variant, you can spread the virus to others.”

Biden also bragged on Thursday that the regime’s draconian tactics had “worked” because after mass firings, vaccine compliance at United neared 100 percent.

A number of conservatives took to Twitter to blame Biden for the increase in deaths.

Lavern Spicer, a Republican congressional candidate from Miami-Dade County, wrote in a Friday tweet: “Why are Covid deaths higher this year under Biden and with a vaccine, than they were last year under Trump and with no vaccine?”

Conservative talk show host Clay Travis wrote in a tweet on Wednesday: “Joe Biden ran his entire 2020 campaign from his basement arguing he’d make the country safe from covid by following the ‘science.’ Yet more Americans have now died of covid in 2021 under his administration than in 2020 under Trump.”

Fox News host Laura Ingraham said in a Thursday tweet that much of the national media has remained silent about this year’s rising death toll, comparing their restrained coverage in 2021 to their anti-Trump coverage in 2020.

Ingraham wrote in her tweet: “The Covid death meter crossed 700,000 with Biden in office. Where’s the once-omnipresent CNN death graphic now?”

“Despite being handed vaccines and promising therapeutics, deaths have already surpassed 2020 totals under Biden,” Ingraham said on her Fox News show Ingraham Angle. “Biden promised dignity, we got death.”
