Kamala Harris to Appear on ‘The View’ as Border Crisis Worsens

Vice President Kamala Harris will soon make her first in-studio appearance on the talk show “The View,” as the immigration crisis on the southern border spirals out of control, the Daily Caller reports.

The discussion between Harris and the five liberal hosts of the show will include numerous topics, such as COVID-19, vaccines, Afghanistan, immigration, and election laws. However, despite being informally appointed in March by Joe Biden as the “border czar” to oversee the ongoing immigration crisis, Harris has still not yet planned a trip to the southern border in the midst of another surge of illegal aliens.

There are currently over 10,000 illegals camping out underneath the Del Rio International Bridge in Del Rio, Texas over the last few days, all waiting for federal authorities to take them into custody and inevitably release them into the country. There are numerous illegals in this crowd from the island nation of Haiti, which suffered another devastating earthquake, as well as political turmoil following the assassination of its president Jovenel Moise in July. The conditions in the makeshift camp have been widely documented as horrendous and inadequate for such a massive influx of people, contributing to health threats to the general public as the illegals fester in numerous diseases.

Over 208,000 illegals were encountered by border patrol agents over the course of the month of August, which is an increase of 317 percent from the amount of illegals encountered in August of 2020. This trend indicates that illegals from numerous countries across Latin America are drawn to the United States by Biden’s campaign promises of taxpayer-funded benefits for all illegals, including free healthcare and free education. The surge of illegals since Biden took office in January has repeatedly reached record highs not seen on the southern border in decades.

Despite being appointed to her informal position in March, Harris did not make her first trip to the border until June, after former President Donald Trump announced that he would make his own visit; Harris then quickly scheduled her own trip just to get there first, alongside Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
