Maskless CNN Anchor Chris Cuomo Seen Boogying Down in Hamptons Nightclub

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, who has used his position at CNN to advocate passionately for face masks, was seen partying maskless at a crowded venue in the Hamptons two weeks ago, a newly emerged video  shows. Human Events reporter Jack Posobiec on Thursday tweeted out a clip of Cuomo boogying down at the nightclub.

This was not the first time Cuomo has flouted mask-wearing etiquette in public spaces.

According to Page Six, Cuomo was also spotted last October partying “at a downtown private members club, hobnobbing without a mask and acting like he was the mayor of the joint.”

“He was not social distancing and was walking around indoors, shaking hands and greeting people without a mask. He was just hanging with Brooke Shields’ husband. It’s a double standard when his brother [Gov. Andrew Cuomo] is attacking the restaurant industry and implementing all these senseless rules,” a source told Page Six.

Another source told Page Six Cuomo was walking around “acting like he was mayor” when he wasn’t seated at his table.

He’s also reportedly been marching around his apartment building without a face covering. Fox News obtained a letter from management scolding him for not abiding by the rules and threatening a $500 fine. It read, in part, “You have been observed entering and exiting the building and riding the elevator without the required face coverings.” It adds, “Even though staff members have asked you to comply with this requirement, you have refused to do so.”

Despite these apparent lapses, Cuomo has been a passionate advocate of face masks since the beginning of the pandemic, a fact that has not gone unnoticed by Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

“Chris Cuomo really believes in masks—really believes!—with sincere, religious intensity,” Carlson said last Fall, going on to air a montage of Cuomo hectoring his audience to “wear the damn mask.”

“You need to wear a damn mask, and you have to take care of other people in your community!” Cuomo told CNN colleague Don Lemon, in June of last year.

“How do you help? Put on the damn mask!” he said in a news segment in July of 2020.

“If we care about doing the right things, I wear a mask for you as much as I wear a mask for me!” Cuomo intoned in another clip.

In Cuomo’s defense, he sometimes does take his own advice—like the time he was seen wearing a mask while driving alone in a convertible.

According to the New York Post, Cuomo, who has been fully vaccinated, and has natural immunity from having had the disease, was driving his Firebird, which had an expired inspection sticker.

Cuomo made a point of wearing a mask last May, despite new guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that allowed the fully vaccinated to be maskless.

In April of 2020, after he had completed a three-week quasi-quarantine for COVID, Cuomo proudly promoted a video of himself “emerging from his basement” — even though the COVID-positive CNN star was spotted well outside of his basement about a week earlier in front of his property in East Hampton. A resident who saw him, and recognized who he was, said, “isn’t he supposed to be quarantined?”  prompting an enraged response from Cuomo.

“Who the hell are you?! I can do what I want!” he allegedly ranted, screaming, ‘I’ll find out who you are!’”
