Morning Greatness: DHS Sec. Mayorkas Heads to Mexico to Cleanup After Kamala PR Failure

Good Friday morning.

Listen to the latest episode of Happy Hour with Julie and Liz: we interview Jack Posobiec about his new book on Antifa.

Two minutes of hate:

U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas will travel to Mexico following VP Harris’s disastrous trip to the area. Harris was unable to say when or even if she would visit the border. The Harris team is worried that if Kamala is connected to the border crisis, it will hurt her chances of winning a presidential election. Let me tell you that’s not what will keep her from the presidency.  Mayorkas will head down to Mexico June 14-15 “to meet with counterparts in the Government of Mexico on areas of mutual interest.” Good luck with that.

A bipartisan group of senators have reached an agreement on the “infrastructure” plan. Forbes reported the price tag totals $1.2T over eight years, $974B is over a five year period, and has $579B in new spending not including funds allocated in previous agreements. Senator Ron Wyden already rejected the bill saying any bill that doesn’t hike taxes or address climate change is a non-starter. Wyden also said the WH will not accept the bill. Good.

FBI Derp State honcho Chris Wray testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday and stated that Trump is not under any investigation for the January 6 riot.

“I’m not aware of any investigation that specifically goes to that, but we have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of investigations related to January 6, involving lots and lots of different pieces of it,” Wray told the House Judiciary Committee.

Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds.
