Questions for Kamala

Since Joe Biden put her in charge of the border, Kamala Harris has been ducking reporters’ questions. If she ever gets around to it, here are some possible queries for the California Democrat:

Madame Vice President, in your view, what is the purpose of the U.S. border?

Are you aware of any countries that maintain a border policy like the one the Harris-Biden Administration is implementing?

In 2014, then-Vice President Joe Biden said the foreign nationals coming to the United States in caravans were “already Americans.” As the current vice president of the United States, is that also your view?

When Central American parents send minor children to the border in the company of smugglers, does that in any way constitute child abuse?

Are you opposed to human trafficking?

Are you in favor of admitting any foreign national to the United States without screening for COVID-19 or any other disease?

Are you in favor of admitting any foreign national with a criminal record to the United States?

Are you aware of how many foreign nationals are now present in the United States illegally?

Should any foreign national illegally present in the United States ever be deported for any reason?

Should foreign nationals illegally (or legally) present in the United States ever vote in any U.S. election?

Should foreign nationals illegally present in the United States ever receive benefits funded by U.S. taxpayers?

Why in your view is the United States the preferred destination of migrants when countries such as Costa Rica, Panama, and Cuba are much closer?

Does the border crisis mean that the United States is taking on the fiscal responsibilities of foreign nations?

What do you say to legal immigrants and naturalized U.S. citizens who object to the administration’s open-border policy?

Have the governments of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador ever done anything with which you disagreed?

When Joe Biden was a senator and vice president did he ever do anything with which you disagreed?

Your 2010 election win for California attorney general came three weeks after the election and by less than one percentage point. To your knowledge, were any of the ballots harvested after the election bogus?

Madame Vice President, you once carried on a romantic relationship with Willie Brown, a married politician 30 years your senior, and who set you up in lucrative sinecures and later backed your runs for public office. What, if anything, do you owe to Willie Brown?

Madame Vice President, just one more thing. Love your suit.
