Kamala Harris to Host Empowering Women Event with Bill Clinton

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Bill Clinton will sit for a one-on-one conversation Friday, hosted by the Clinton Foundation on the topic of empowering women in the United States and around the world, The Daily Caller reports.

The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) 13th annual event will focus on “the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on women, and empowering women and girls in the U.S. and around the world,” according to a statement from the Clinton Foundation.

Harris is set to speak with Clinton on the topic of empowering women despite the former president having faced multiple allegations of sexual crimes against women spanning decades and being associated with convicted pedophile and sex-trafficking billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.

According to the Daily Caller, Clinton has remained largely silent regarding the flights that he took on Epstein’s private jet, which reportedly offered passengers young girls for sex.

Photographs of Clinton and an alleged Epstein victim, Chauntae Davies, standing on Epstein’s plane had also emerged. Additional photos of the president with Epstein’s victims including one where he is seen receiving a shoulder rub, have also been leaked.

The conference which is being held in partnership with Howard University, Harris’s alma mater, is part of a four-day virtual event for the annual ‘CGI University’ and will also include speakers such as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Democratic activist Stacey Abrams, Chelsea Clinton and American author Wes Moore, according to The Daily Caller.

The event will explore topics such as “restoring faith in democracy, environmental justice, COVID-19 recovery, and creating systemic change,” according to the event page.

The VP, who had previously called for impeaching Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh over allegations of sexual harassment and condemned former Democratic Senator Al Franken on similar allegations has remained silent regarding the sexual assault allegations from several women against Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
