Good Thursday morning.
Rest in peace Rush Limbaugh. Can you think of an individual who has had a greater influence on conservative politics than Rush? I can’t. His talent was to speak to a large part of America on issues they cared about in a way they understood. He was a stark contrast to the sneering and finger wagging of the Cathedral and its orbiters. Rush helped people realize they weren’t alone when the media tyrants were trying their hardest to alienate the common man and denigrate their hopes, dreams and worries. Rush spoke to real people, not the coastal elites and taste-makers and for that reason, the left could never crush him. The greatest gift a person can give the world is to leave a meaningful legacy, and Rush Limbaugh has left a grand one in his shadow.
G-d bless you Rush, may your memory be a blessing. I couldn’t imagine my life without you and I know tens of millions of people feel the same.
