Kamala Harris Already Taking Head of State Phone Calls With World Leaders

Just weeks into Joe Biden’s “transition” presidency, his second-in-command, Kamala Harris has already begun taking Head of State phone calls with world leaders, it has been learned.

A White House readout of a recent call between the deeply unlikable and unpopular Harris and President Emmanuel Macron of France was first noticed by the National Pulse.

The Feb 15 readout states:

Vice President Kamala Harris spoke today with President Emmanuel Macron of France, and expressed her commitment to strengthening bilateral ties between the United States and France and to revitalizing the transatlantic alliance. Vice President Harris and President Macron agreed on the need for close bilateral and multilateral cooperation to address COVID-19, climate change, and support democracy at home and around the world. They also discussed numerous regional challenges, including those in the Middle East and Africa, and the need to confront them together. The Vice President thanked President Macron for his leadership on the issue of gender equality and for France’s contribution to NASA’s Mars 2020 Perseverance rover.

On Feb. 1, Harris also spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in her first call with a foreign leader, the Daily Mail reported.

During the call, the two leaders spoke about combating COVID-19, climate change, diversity and other issues, readouts from the White House and Canadian prime minister’s office said.

Harris also offered assurances that the Biden administration would ‘do everything it can’ to secure the release of two Canadian citizens detained by China.

The Biden White House thus far refused to call the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, although White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Biden will be calling him “soon.”

“His first call with a leader in the region will be with Prime Minister Netanyahu,” Psaki told reporters Tuesday. “It will be soon. Stay tuned. Israel is an important ally.”

“Former President Trump called Netanyahu two days into office,” Fox News pointed out.

While Biden has made a flurry of calls to world leaders in Britain, Japan, Mexico, Germany, South Korea, China and Russia, it is considered unusual for a vice president to be making any important head of state phone calls this early into an administration.

So far, in contrast to four years ago, no transcripts of any of the Biden White House calls to world leaders have been leaked to the media.

In glaring contrast to the corporate media’s 24/7 100 percent negative and hostile coverage of former president Trump beginning the day he was inaugurated, news outlets in recent days have gushed about the first couple’s daily habits, their pets and their family. The American people have been regaled with stories about the First Dogs, the Biden’s walk on the White House lawn to survey their kitschy Valentine hearts display, Joe Biden’s Mario Cart duel with his grandkids, and his preference of a fire in the Oval Office fireplace.

As the National Pulse points out, Biden referred to himself as a “transition candidate” in May of 2020 “to bring the Mayor Petes of the world into this administration… and even when they don’t come in, their ideas come into this administration.”

At the time Biden made that comment, he had not yet chosen a candidate for vice president. He went on to appoint Pete Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, to be his Transportation Secretary.

According to the National Pulse, Harris is being set up to lead the U.S. delegation at the G8 in June, “especially if Biden is still busy playing Mario Kart.”
