Bail Fund Supported by Biden Campaign and Kamala Harris Keeps Bailing Out Violent Criminals–Including Rapists, Murderers and Pedophiles

A violent rioter in Minneapolis who was bailed out of jail twice in recent months thanks to a bail fund supported by Kamala Harris, has been arrested again and is now facing three new federal charges, according to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office.

Thomas Moseley, 29, is one of many violent criminals who have been bailed out in recent months by the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which posts bail for violent criminals and rioters—including an accused child rapist—under the pretense of helping people in poverty.

Moseley is charged with three counts of “fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm,” the attorney’s office said. Because of the previous charges, prosecutors are asking bail to be set at $250,000.

Moseley has been charged with crimes three separate times in the past six months, KSTP reported.

A criminal complaint states Moseley was at a protest on the skyway level of the Hennepin County Government Center on Oct. 15. Police knew there was a pickup order for Moseley for possible charges related to the damaging of the Minneapolis Police Fifth Precinct building on Aug. 15. Moseley has since been charged with felony criminal property damage in that case.

While he was being arrested, police found a Glock semi-automatic handgun in Moseley’s waistband, the complaint states. Moseley was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon in a courthouse for that incident.

Police then found Moseley’s truck near Seventh Street and Second Avenue. The complaint states officers obtained a search warrant and found three handguns, a shotgun and a semi-automatic rifle, along with a panel for stopping bullets in a bulletproof vest, a gas mask and approximately 50 bullets inside the truck. Police also allegedly found marijuana, cocaine and psilocybin mushrooms, which Moseley’s most recent charges stem from.

According to the attorney’s office, Moseley was granted an unconditional release on the property damage and gun possession charges after the Minnesota Freedom Fund posted his $5,000 bail. Moseley was then among the five people charged with second-degree riot after a New Year’s Eve incident in downtown Minneapolis. His bail, in that case, was set at $60,000 but was again paid by the Minnesota Freedom Fund, the attorney’s office said.

Last summer, Kamala Harris and at least 13 Biden staffers made a point of proudly promoting and contributing to the Minnesota Freedom Fund.

“If you’re able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota,” Harris tweeted.

The Minnesota Freedom Fund nonsensically claims to be “part of a larger movement to end the harms of money bail and jailing people for poverty,” but in reality is nothing more than a piggie bank for habitual criminals and violent agitators to dip into every time they get caught breaking the law.

A FOX 9 report from August revealed that the organization bailed out Darnika Floyd, who was charged with second-degree murder after allegedly stabbing a friend to death, and Christopher Boswell, who is facing charges of sexual assault and kidnapping. The group put up $100,000 on behalf of Floyd and $350,000 on behalf of Boswell.

Additionally, the Minnesota Freedom Fund bailed out a 32-year-old Minneapolis man last July who was charged with assault. The man went on to brutally assault another victim, leaving him  him with a traumatic brain injury.

Lionel Timms faced “one felony count of third-degree assault — causing substantial bodily harm — in connection to the Aug. 14 incident,” according to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office.

The Biden/Harris-supported bail fund also helped release an accused child rapist last year, Fox News reported.

Timothy Wayne Columbus, a 36-year-old-man, is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly penetrating a girl in 2015 when she was about 8 years old.

A warrant was issued for his arrest on June 25. But he was later bailed out of jail and according to a court document, filed to have his bail money returned to Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF), the organization Harris and many Biden staffers asked their followers to donate to during the rioting in Minneapolis earlier this year.

Last May, thirteen Biden staff members posted on Twitter that they were donating to the Minnesota Freedom Fund.

Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement to Reuters that the former vice president opposes the institution of cash bail as a “modern day debtors prison.”

Their opposition to cash bail for criminal offenses helped get a monster sprung from jail.

The allegations against Columbus are macabre. The arrest warrant in the case states that the girl Columbus allegedly assaulted lived with her grandmother, who regularly spent time with her friend “Tim,” while the girl was seven and eight years old. When the girl was about eight, the victim told police, “‘Tim’ laid her on her couch and held her down as he unbuckled his pants and then pulled down her pants. Victim stated he then ‘put his thing inside me.'”

The warrant continues: “Victim states ‘Tim’ told her not to tell anyone and continued to penetrate her. Victim did not tell anyone what happened at the time but years later told a family member.”

“The cash bail system incarcerates people who are presumed innocent,” the Biden Campaign said on its website. “And, it disproportionately harms low-income individuals. Biden will lead a national effort to end cash bail and reform our pretrial system by putting in place, instead, a system that is fair and does not inject further discrimination or bias into the process.”
