Morning Greatness: ‘Extremist’ Trump ‘Militias’ Head to D.C. for ‘Violence’

Good Tuesday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • President Trump will work from early in the morning until late in the evening. He will make many calls and have many meetings.

Two minutes of hate:

The widely-circulated tabloid newspaper USA Today warns the “Nation’s capital braces for violence as extremist groups converge to protest Donald Trump’s election loss.” Braces! Violence! Extremist! Eeek! Did we ever see such warnings before the numerous summer social justice riots infected cities around the country with ritualized looting, arson and assaults?

Readers are warned, without evidence, that the rallies will “attract large numbers of President Donald Trump’s supporters, including conspiracy theorists, militia groups and members of the extremist group the Proud Boys, raising concerns of violent confrontations.”

Will any opposition be at these events? USA Today remains silent on that front but does mention a lawsuit.

The lawsuit, filed in Washington, D.C., Superior Court, cites numerous instances of Proud Boys posting threatening and violent messages on social media before last month’s protests. It seeks damages on behalf of the Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church and notes that the group is pushing for similar violence in the protests this week.

Let’s have a closer look at this shameless piece of sewer journalism. The Washington D.C. protests are about the massive vote fraud in the 2020 election. The people attending have every right to congregate in public and air their grievances regardless if they are in a militia or if they are a conspiracy theorist. Considering USA Today was front and center peddling the RUSSIA-collusion conspiracy theory for four years, the scandal sheet has no business throwing around the “conspiracy” label. In fact, the unprovoked violence over the last year has come almost exclusively from the left. It’s not MAGA people throwing explosives at federal buildings, annexing city blocks for murderous autonomous zones, smashing up/destroying small businesses or looting luxury stores. The “extremists” USAT is talking about don’t seek out conflict but rather trouble makers come looking for a fight. Any other assertion is simply propaganda and it’s effective propaganda because here is USAT ignoring the provocation from the left and spinning the political violence as originating from MAGA.

This is just one example of the movement to narrative-shape and invert reality to the dupes still trusting the Cathedral’s outlets for actual information. There have already been several MAGA rallies after the November election and the only violence is after dark. It’s not the MAGA people scouring the city looking for trouble, they are the victims.

Trump supporters were bombarded with fireworks while dining at a Washington D.C. restaurant following Saturday’s “MAGA Million March” in the nation’s capital — one of several outbreaks of violence at the demonstration, according to reports.

“Trump supporters are eating outside at a restaurant, 2 blocks from the White House,” Stone wrote in the post. “16th & K St. A large group confronts them. Someone throws what appears to be fireworks. Moments later, police push back a crowd that wants to confront Trump supporters.”

Elsewhere in the city, anti-Trump protesters also threw liquid and other items as the pro-Trump rally broke up, while others snatched Trump flags and hats as the demonstration wound down, Insider said in a report.

Shame on USA Today.

On a similar note, Politico’s semantic policeman Tim Alberta is urging his fellow progressive missionaries to get with the labeling program. “Words matter. It’s past time we reformed our political terminology. We should not—for the rest of their careers—refer to any of these Republican E.C. objectors as ‘conservatives,'” Alberta began. “They are radicals. They are extremists. There is nothing conservative about subverting democracy.”

“I’m serious,” Alberta doubled down. “Writers and broadcasters need to think critically about how to describe people like Ted Cruz and Jim Jordan without defaulting to ‘conservative.’ When in doubt, use ‘far-right.’ I’m open to other ideas. But calling any of this ‘conservative’ is profoundly misleading.”

See the pattern here? The high priests of political discourse want to redefine commonsense language. Following the constitutionally proscribed Electoral College procedures is “subverting democracy.” It’s radical, it’s extreme. What a switch from the rules concerning reporting only four short years ago:
