Morning Greatness: Fraud-Heavy States Ready Alternative Electors for Certification

Good Tuesday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president has no public events scheduled today.

Two minutes of hate:

On Monday electors in states across the country met to cast their votes for president. Alternate electors did the same in battleground states where there was ridiculous amounts of voter fraud. Why did they do this? Because both chambers of Congress can challenge the states’ elector votes. The Trump electors met according to statutory guidelines so they were “certifiable” on January 6, 2021, should Congress challenge the Biden electors from Fraudville.

Trump adviser Stephen Miller explained, “As we speak, today, an alternate slate of electors in the contested states is going to vote and we’re going to send those results up to Congress,” he continued. “This will ensure that all of our legal remedies remain open. That means that if we win these cases in the courts, that we can direct that the alternate state of electors be certified.”

So, either the pending lawsuits go Trump’s way or some courageous elected Congressperson or Senator puts their foot down. In other words, don’t bet on that happening.

There was a massive cyber attack on the U.S. government, but you probably didn’t hear much about it yesterday because it’s more important to smack talk Trump, pretend there’s no such thing as voter fraud or virtue signal how sexist it is to claim Jill Biden isn’t a real doctor.

“This is probably going to be one of the most consequential cyberattacks in U.S. history,” one U.S. official said, after the National Security Council held its second meeting in three days about the attacks, which security experts have linked to Russian intelligence. “That’s the view from inside government — that we’re dealing with something of a scale that I don’t think we’ve had to deal with before.”

Although the investigations remain in the very early stages, the breaches appear to have begun between March and June, when the hackers compromised the software company SolarWinds, which sells IT management products to hundreds of government and private-sector clients, including federal agencies and Fortune 500 companies.

By infecting the software updates that SolarWinds distributed to users of its Orion IT monitoring system, the hackers gained a foothold in those users’ networks. From there, they appear to have broken into victims’ Microsoft email servers by forging the authentication tokens that tell the system who should be granted access.

The Trump Administration believes the hack is the work of RUSSIA’s foreign intelligence service, the SVR, according to Politico’s anonymous sources. It’s probably not the RUSSIANS, based on the track record of the anonymous sources we’ve heard from during the last four years. DHS, DoD, NIH, State Department were reportedly hit by the attack.

Related, a leaked Chinese Communist Party membership roll shows thousands of party members employed by American and European companies. Some of the companies are U.S. government contractors. Wonderful.

On Monday night, President Trump tweeted out that Attorney General Bill Barr will resign effective December 23.

Barr had a tough job, the Department of Justice is chock full of derp state, institutional leftists. It’s almost impossible to fire them and they can slow walk their work, ignore directives, leak “narratives” disguised as scoops, and generally hit the brakes on the Trump agenda all of which they did. Barr wanted to depoliticize the DoJ, which is certainly noble, but the time for that has long passed. The institutional consensus has been corrupted and until the partisans are fired and prosecuted, there’s no way to fix it. “I am greatly honored that you called on me to serve your Administration and the American people once again as Attorney General,” Barr wrote in the letter. “Your record is all the more historic because you accomplished it in the face of relentless, implacable resistance.”Could he have done more while he was there? Probably. In the end, I think Barr wanted to maintain the integrity of the DoJ which meant keeping much of their dirty laundry a secret. Unfortunately, there’s no way to rehabilitate the DoJ without shining sunlight on all its corruption. Godspeed, Bill Barr.
