In an interview with the Associated Press, Tuesday, Attorney General William Barr said that the Justice Dept. has found no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election as of yet, defying President Donald Trump’s ongoing efforts to uncover massive election fraud.
“With all due respect to the Attorney General, there hasn’t been any semblance of a Department of Justice investigation,” said Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, and Trump Campaign legal advisor Jenna Ellis.
Nonetheless, Barr told the AP: “To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election.”
“There’s a growing tendency to use the criminal justice system as sort of a default fix-all, and people don’t like something they want the Department of Justice to come in and ‘investigate,’” Barr said.
“Most claims of fraud are very particularized to a particular set of circumstances or actors or conduct. They are not systemic allegations and. And those have been run down; they are being run down,” Barr continued. “Some have been broad and potentially cover a few thousand votes. They have been followed up on.”
Hearings on election irregularities in Pennsylvania last week, Arizona on Monday, and Michigan today, however, have brought forth ample evidence of election fraud, arguably enough to change the outcome of the election.
Additionally, in a press conference on Tuesday, former Kansas Attorney General Phill Klein introduced three three whistleblowers who revealed substantial evidence of unlawful actions made by election officials, and widespread illegal efforts by USPS workers to influence the outcome of the election.
Barr was seen entering the White House on Tuesday afternoon for a previously scheduled meeting.
Trump’s legal team quickly put out a statement blasting Barr’s contention that no evidence of widespread voter fraud has been found, pointing out that the DOJ hasn’t bothered to interview any their witnesses, or audit the voting machines in the battleground states where they have been gathering evidence.
“With all due respect to the Attorney General, there hasn’t been any semblance of a Department of Justice investigation. We have gathered ample evidence of illegal voting in at least six states, which they have not examined. We have many witnesses swearing under oath they saw crimes being committed in connection with voter fraud. As far as we know, not a single one has been interviewed by the DOJ. The Justice Department also hasn’t audited any voting machines or used their subpoena powers to determine the truth.
“Nonetheless, we will continue our pursuit of the truth through the judicial system and state legislatures, and continue toward the Constitution’s mandate and ensuring that every legal vote is counted and every illegal vote is not. Again, with the greatest respect to the Attorney General, his opinion appears to be without any knowledge or investigation of the substantial irregularities and evidence of systemic fraud.”

A DOJ spokesperson told CBS News that the Department’s investigation into Election fraud is ongoing.
“The Department will continue to receive and vigorously pursue all specific and credible allegations of fraud as expeditiously as possible,” the spokesperson said.
