Good Thursday morning.
Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:
- The president delivers remarks at a Make America Great Again Rally, Greenville, North Carolina
- President Trump delivers remarks at a Fundraising Committee Reception in Doral, Florida
- The president participates in a Live NBC News Town Hall Event in Miami, Florida
Two minutes of hate:
On Wednesday Amy Coney Barrett returned for more question from the insane clown posse on the Senate Judiciary Committee. She did a great job despite the Democrats great efforts. The Democrats see the courts as a group of social justice warriors to fix the appropriate public ills, while the actual job is to ensure the laws of the land are consistent with the constitution and the rights of the citizens. The Democrats are very, very worried that Trump is going to appoint another justice that will make sure the laws do not steam roll Americans in the service of progressive social objectives. Senators like Corey Booker, Amy Klobuchar, and Kamala Harris kept trying to get ACB to make policy statements on climate change, abortion, voting rights and health care. But it’s not her job to take policy positions and she skillfully avoided giving them any answers which the media is using to scare people she’s going to ruin their lives.
Do the Democrats have something up their sleeves to keep her off the court? Stay Tuned.
RED ALERT: The tech tyrants really sh!t the bed yesterday when they censored a story about Hunter Biden’s laptop. The information was published in the New York Post and came from Hunter Biden’s laptop that was taken in for repair and never retrieved. The shop owner tried to contact Hunter, alerted the feds and the FBI seized the computer in December. The owner made a copy of the hard drive before turning it over and gave that copy to Rudy Giuliani’s people. Good. The emails show that Joe Biden, who was in charge of U.S.-Ukraine affairs when he was vice president, was involved in Hunter Biden’s business with Burisma. Biden had previously denied he knew anything about Hunter ‘s business. Biden also denied that threatening to withhold $1 billion in aid from the Ukraine unless they fired the prosecutor who was investigating Burisma, the company who put Hunter on its board and paid him $80k a month, had anything to do with the fact that son Hunter Biden was on the board making an obscene amount of money. Remember the folks who are giving this a pass are the same ones who scream emoluments because visitors to the White House book a room at the Trump Hotel.
There’s two major issues here: the first is that the emails confirm Hunter was the beneficiary of his father’s political position and that Joe Biden used his position to help his son and lied about it. The second is that social media tech giants censored this story because it was bad news for Biden, their chosen candidate. Twitter and Facebook both limited sharing of the story and shut down accounts of people who tried to share it. The head tyrant at Twitter Jack Dorsey admitted the company botched its handling of the story and wanted to label it disinformation rather than straight up ban the URL from being shared. The company claimed they banned the story because of its “hacked material” policy even though the material was not hacked and the company allowed other material to be featured and shared that came from questionable sources, like anything related to the RUSSIA collusion hoax. The pee pee dossier was shared which was based on RUSSIAN disinformation, information about the Flynn/Kislyak call which was a leak of the highest level of classified information, leaked confidential calls with foreign countries and all other stories based on leaked, classified information were easily promoted and shared on social media.
Several elected officials have written letters to the tech tyrants. Senator Josh Hawley is one and Ted Cruz is another. It’s time to remove protections from the tech censors, they are not “tools” they are publishers with an editorial vision and they should be treated as such.
The Biden campaign came out with a feeble response to the post article claiming that any meeting with Ukrainian kleptocrats were not on Biden’s official schedule. Of course they aren’t. Duh. They also complained the NYP did not reach out to them for comment, but that is standard now. Do you think the Cathedral bothers to fact check their Trump hit pieces by contacting the White House or the campaign? Of course not. The Biden campaign has not claimed that the emails are fake as of yet.
Developing.
