Good Tuesday morning.
Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:
- The president participates in the First Presidential Debate
Five minutes of hate:
Sorry for the scare title, I just want to get you ready for the headlines tomorrow.
Tonight’s the night for the debate, I didn’t think it would happen but here we are. The debate will take place at 9pm ET tonight, which means I probably won’t watch it live as that’s my bed time. There will be no handshake at the beginning of the debate which is really stupid since everyone will be tested for coronavirus. More virtue signalling. The audience will be 80-90 people, all tested for the virus. Will they be wearing masks anyway? I bet they will.
Chris Wallace of Fox News is the moderator, I’m not a fan of Wallace but I guess it could be worse. Wallace can be harsh but he also tends to be less harsh with Democrats. Will he push Biden on his vacuous and vague policies? Will we finally learn all the things that Biden would have done to save the world from the Chinese virus? My money is on “nope.”
The topic of the debate will cover 5 topics: 1) The Trump and Biden records; 2) The Supreme Court; 3) Covid-19; 4) the economy; 5) race and violence in cities; 6) the integrity of the election.
The big question is what will happen with Biden. Will he be jacked up on modafinil and B12 shots? Adderall? Cocaine? Ritalin? Jolt cola? Biden refused a drug test which is kind of a silly thing for a presidential debate but why not call Trump on his bluff? I think we know why, Joe is juiced. Will he give a great performance? Will he be cogent and articulate? Will Wallace push him? The bar is very low for Joe which is dangerous because as long as Biden doesn’t gaffe up or slobber on himself, the Cathedral will anoint him the winner.
President Trump is a wild card, he’s an unknown so there’s no way to predict what how things will play out tonight but one thing is certain: Joe Biden will win the debate. Take that to the bank.
