Trump Must Confront Biden on Democrats’ Election Interference Plans

President Trump on Tuesday night will confront the leader of the party currently plotting to rig the outcome of the 2020 presidential election and make sure their candidate enters the White House next year, no matter what.

Joe Biden not only is the ultimate victor in the dry run of the post-election civil war Democratic Party leaders and donors plan to launch after November 3, the former vice president is an old hand at thwarting the so-called “peaceful transfer of power” they now insist the president will frustrate.

Hyperventilating by the media and Democrats aside, the fact is that Barack Obama and Joe Biden have done more to tarnish the historical precedent of ensuring the smooth transition from one president to another than any other previous administration.

On the debate stage Tuesday night, the president needs to remind the American people of their treachery, which has been as much of an assault on all of us, perhaps more so, than on Donald Trump. This “permanent coup,” as author Lee Smith describes it, involves loyalists to both Obama and Biden who control powerful government agencies, influential nonprofits and the news industry.

Each week, more bombshell revelations are disclosed about the insidious attempt to oust Donald Trump from the White House because the ruling class could not accept the results of the 2016 election.

And Joe Biden’s fingerprints can be found everywhere.

From his summer 2016 secret Situation Room meetings with former CIA chief John Brennan and others, to his unmasking of Lt. General Michael Flynn and the setup of Trump’s incoming national security advisor, Biden played a key yet conveniently overlooked role in concocting the phony Trump-Russian collusion hoax.

Biden, who attended the infamous January 5, 2017 briefing with Obama to discuss the investigation into Trump, was fully complicit in the wide-ranging operation to sabotage the president-elect and his team.

Biden not only worked behind the scenes, he also worked over his longtime friends in the press to perpetuate the lie.

“It surprised me that it made it to the point where the FBI thought they had to pursue it,” Biden told a gaggle of reporters in the West Wing on January 12, 2017 referring to the now-disproven “pee tape” included in the now-discredited Steele dossier.

Biden defended the use of the dossier in Brennan’s intelligence community assessment that claimed the Russians helped Donald Trump win.

“This is something the press already had . . . it was their obligation to inform not only us but the president-elect that this was out there so it didn’t come out of the blue and have any impact on our foreign policy,” Biden told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell just days before Trump’s swearing-in.

Any doubt expressed by Trump about the legitimacy of the accusations was “playing into a Russian narrative,” Biden warned. In March 2017, Biden called for a select committee to investigate Trump-Russia election collusion; he supported the appointment of Obama’s longtime FBI Director Robert Mueller as special counsel.

In 2018, Biden publicly opposed the release of the Nunes memo, which alerted Americans for the first time about the political origins of the Steele dossier.

“What do you think they’re thinking in Moscow?” Biden ranted on CNN in February 2018. “This is doing everything that [Russian President Vladimir] Putin ever wanted, sowing doubt about whether or not our justice system is fair, sowing doubt about whether or not there is anything that is remotely consistent with our Constitution.”

And after Special Counsel Robert Mueller came up empty-handed in May 2019, a Biden-connected bureaucrat played the role of a “whistleblower” to fuel the Democrats’ impeachment attempt.

So much for the “peaceful transfer of power.”

The 2020 version of illicitly removing Donald Trump from the Oval Office is a more public effort than the stealth version circa 2016. As I explained here, the Transition Integrity Project, a misnomer to put it lightly, is performing tabletop “war game” exercises to prepare for a number of election outcomes. “We assess with a high degree of likelihood that November’s elections will be marked by a chaotic legal and political landscape,” the group warns. “We face a period of contestation stretching from the first day a ballot is cast in mid-September until January 20. The winner may not, and we assess likely will not, be known on ‘election night’ as officials count mail-in ballots.”

Some people involved in TIP include former Clinton campaign manager John Podesta; Fox News contributor Donna Brazile; NeverTrumpers Bill Kristol and Michael Steele; and dozens of “current and former senior government and campaign leaders,” the group claimed.

Their pretext rests on the oft-cited accusation that Donald Trump will not leave office if Joe Biden wins, but details of the plan divulge that Democrats, with the help of traditional and social media as well as a cadre of Trump-hating billionaires, will try to install Biden even if he loses. The “insurrection,” as the president accurately called it and I reported here, is backed by some of the richest people in the world.

“In the ‘Trump win’ scenario, desperate Democrats—stunned by yet another election won by the candidate with fewer votes after credible claims of foreign interference and voter suppression— also sought to send rival slates of electors to Congress,” TIP co-founder Rosa Brooks disclosed in a Washington Post op-ed earlier this month. The Biden team “even floated the idea of encouraging secessionist movements in California and the Pacific Northwest unless GOP congressional leaders agreed to a series of reforms, including the division of California into five smaller states to ensure better Senate representation of its vast population, and statehood for D.C. and Puerto Rico.” Eliminating the Electoral College is another demand.

Chaos and violence would engulf the country until Democrats get their way, a veiled threat Joe Biden himself made over the summer. “Does anyone believe there will be less violence in America if Donald Trump is reelected?” Biden asked during a rare campaign event in August.

Since the media won’t ask Biden about his post-election plans, the president must. Does Joe Biden support Democrats playing “war games” to formulate post-election mayhem? Will Joe Biden concede even if he wins the popular vote but loses the Electoral College? Will he refuse to concede unless unconstitutional or norm-breaking demands such as the elimination of the Electoral College or statehood for Washington, D.C. are met? Will Biden condemn instances of voter fraud or ballot tampering that benefit Democrats?

Does Biden endorse the idea of Democratic governors sending “rival slates” of electors to Congress on January 6? Will Biden wage a protracted battle all the way until Inauguration Day?

Will Biden denounce attempts by social media platforms to censor or ban content posted by Republicans about the election?

The president also should ask Biden to defend his role in perpetuating the Russian collusion hoax. Why did he target Mike Flynn? Why did Biden defend the dossier even though he knew it was political propaganda sourced by a foreign operative and paid for by Democrats? Why did he refuse to peacefully hand over the reins of power and instead gaslight the American public and destroy innocent people over an imaginary crime?

And what is the nature of Biden’s relationship with the so-called “whistleblower?”

Donald Trump—and the country—have been through hell over the past four years because Democrats refused to surrender power. They have abused every government power in an insatiable pursuit of Trump, his family, and his administration.

The intervening period between Election Day 2016 and today has been anything but peaceful. Joe Biden has made sure of it.
