Morning Greatness: A.G. Barr to Testify Before Nadler’s House Judiciary Drum Circle

Good Tuesday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president has no public events scheduled.

Barr to testify before kangaroo congressional drum circle

On Tuesday, Attorney General Bill Barr will testify before the House Judiciary Committee. The Hill writes:

The hearing is likely to be contentious, with Democrats demanding answers about his handling of high-level prosecutions of President Trump’s associates, pressing Barr about what they see as the politicization of the Department of Justice and grilling him about his recent role in the clearing of peaceful protesters outside the White House so that Trump could stage a photo-op in front of a historic church that was vandalized during protests demonstrating against police brutality and the police killing of George Floyd.

I am here for this, I highly recommend you tune in at 10amET. You can watch on the Committee’s website here. Read Barr’s opening remarks below, he’s coming in hot.
