Morning Greatness: Fireworks for Some, Murder and Mayhem for Others

Good Monday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president meets with the Secretary of State

Holiday weekend brings fireworks for some, murders and violence for others

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday weekend, grilling environmentally friendly Beyond Burgers, wearing masks, socially distancing or following whatever the current virus rules are. There was no holiday respite for the malefactors and troublemakers who made the headlines all weekend. Let’s review a few of the notable happenings.

First up, in Seattle some Black Lives Matter idiots blocked a freeway (illegal) in the middle of the night and a “luxury” car driven by a racist hit two people. Oh wait, the car was driven by a black dude. Maybe he was surprised to find the road blocked with virtually invisible, black-clad activists? One of the people hit by the car has died along with the story because the driver turned out to be black.

Next up, the lovely folks in the sh!thole city of Baltimore, took down a statue of noted confederate solider Christopher Columbus. “While we welcome peaceful protests and constructive dialogue on whether and how to put certain monuments in context or move them to museums through a legal process, lawlessness, vandalism and destruction of public property is completely unacceptable,” Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan said in a Facebook post. If only someone had the authority to protect property in Maryland…

Finally, a statue of Frederick Douglass was toppled in Rochester, New York. I’m not sure what the pretense for this was as Douglass was an abolitionist and a black man. Does anyone still think all this vandalism and destruction is about racism? Give me a break. I blame the local elected officials who do not protect the targeted statues, don’t stop the vandalism/social unrest and if the police do happen to get involved, the Soros-backed prosecutors don’t charge the hooligans and let them free. Why wouldn’t they keep escalating?

Moving along to the murder count, Chicago had a rough weekend with 70 shot and 14 dead. Several children lost their lives, including a 6-year-old in San Francisco, and an 8-year-old in Atlanta. Some fine gentleman in NYC pulled a gun out in broad daylight and shot someone.

Stay safe out there.
