Morning Greatness: Another Day, Another Race Hoax

Good Wednesday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president participates in a bilateral meeting with the President of the Republic of Poland
  • President Trump participates in an expanded bilateral meeting with the President of the Republic of Poland
  • The president participates in a joint press conference with the President of the Republic of Poland

Another fake hate crime

Deja vu all over again. This one seemed pretty ridiculous on its face but that didn’t stop a frenzied mob from activating for a big virtue signal performance. Why can’t people just wait until an investigation is completed? Didn’t anyone learn from Jussie Smollet and the smear of the Covington Kids?

Here’s the story: a noose was found Sunday morning at Talladega in black NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace’s garage and immediately, the usual suspects condemned it, condemned racism from the moron/racist NASCAR community and assembled for a march against the fantasized racism.

Now, the garage where the “noose” was found, was very restricted so the list of potential racists was limited. But where was a picture of the noose? A picture is exactly the kind of thing that would be smeared all over social media, but we never got a picture of the noose, only the allegation. And it turned out that the “noose” was really just a rope to pull down the garage door and had been there since at least last year. Here’s a picture from Conservative Tree House, they figured out this racket pretty quickly:

The FBI, who can’t be bothered to track down the vandals and hooligans destroying public buildings, statues and businesses but can act swiftly for the “right” reason, released a statement after they investigated the “hate crime.”

“The FBI learned that garage number 4, where the noose was found, was assigned to Bubba Wallace last week,” the agency said in a statement Tuesday.

“The investigation also revealed evidence, including authentic video confirmed by NASCAR, that the noose found in garage number 4 was in that garage as early as October 2019. Although the noose is now known to have been in garage number 4 in 2019, nobody could have known Mr. Wallace would be assigned to garage number 4 last week.”

NOOSECAR released a statement, “The evidence is very clear that the noose that was in that garage had been in the garage previously,” NASCAR president Steve Phelps said. “The last race we had had there in October, that noose was present, and it was — the fact that it was not found until a member of the 43 team came there is something that is a fact. We had not been back to the garage. It was a quick one-day show. The crew member went back in there. He looked and saw the noose, brought it to the attention of his crew chief, who then went to the NASCAR series director Jay Fabian, and we launched this investigation.
“To be clear, we would do this again. Of the evidence that we had, it was clear that we needed to look into this.”

It doesn’t even look like a noose, it’s too small. A five second investigation would have discovered it was there to pull down the garage door. But Bubba doesn’t agree.

Talking to Lemon, Wallace said the image he saw of “what was hanging in my garage is not a garage pull.”

“It was a noose,” Wallace said. “Whether tied in 2019 or whatever, it was a noose. So, it wasn’t directed at me but somebody tied a noose. That’s what I’m saying.”

It wasn’t a noose. Bubba is upset people are questioning his integrity after the FBI discovered the “noose” had been there for a while and wasn’t directed at him. Birmingham FBI spokesperson Paul Damon told CNN, “It’s my understanding that the rope was fashioned into a noose knot and used as a door pull.”

Fortunately, NASCAR will continue the investigation. “We are continuing our portion of the investigation to try to determine why there was a rope fashioned into a noose, which obviously happened sometime last October or before.” I can’t wait for the results.

Election update

We had an election yesterday, and voters turned out to vote despite dire warnings about the Chinese virus.  In New York,”Several polling sites around the city reported higher-than-expected, in-person turnout on Tuesday, as voters cast ballots in congressional primaries, state legislative races and a presidential primary postponed from April.” AOC won her primary and there’s some bad news for Rep. Elliot Engel: his Democrat opponent, Jamaal Bowman, has a double-digit lead for the time being. Bowman is an AOC candidate, put in there to get rid of the more “moderate” Democrats and make room for the nutters. Bowman has 61 percent of the vote to Engel’s 36 percent. Brutal. Engel is a 16-term incumbent.

In Kentucky, Democrat Amy McGrath was leading progressive challenger Charles Booker by 8 points in the race to determine who will face cocaine Mitch in  November. Results from the mail in ballots have yet to be counted.

In North Carolina, the Trump-endorsed candidate Lynda Bennett lost to a young new comer, Madison Cawthorn for Trump’s Chief of Staff Mark Meadows’ seat.

Cawthorn — who was partially paralyzed in a 2014 car crash — is a “constitutional conservative” who is “committed to defending the values of faith, family and the freedom that have made America great,” according to his website.

He is the owner of a real estate investment company and a motivational speaker.

Despite not getting the Trump endorsement, Cawthorn announced, “I support our great president,” and said he does not believe “this election has been a referendum on the president’s influence.”

“The people of western North Carolina are wise and discerning. You observed both candidates and simply made the choice you believed is best for our district. I look forward to fighting alongside our president after I’m elected in November,” Cawthorn said.
