Morning Greatness: NBC, Chuck Todd Busted for Editing Clip of A.G. Barr

Good Monday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president meets with the Secretary of State
  • President Trump and Administration officials deliver remarks and hold a press briefing on testing

Chuck Todd edits A.G. Barr video clip on Flynn

Chuck Todd, who is a partisan activist masquerading as a journalist, played an edited clip on his political snuff show “Meet the Press” for his panel of crusty Trump haters. The clowns at NBC admitted to the “mistake.”  You can see the editing here:

NBC edited Barr’s answer to Catherine Herridge’s question about how history will look back on the decision to drop the “case” against Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn. Todd’s edits made it look like Barr responded to the question by saying: “Well, history is written by the winners, so it largely depends on who’s writing the history.” Todd chastised Barr after the clip saying, he was “struck by the cynicism of the answer — it’s a correct answer, but he’s the attorney general. He didn’t make the case that he was upholding the rule of law. He was almost admitting that, yeah, this was a political job.”

But that wasn’t Barr’s complete answer, Todd cut off the rest of what Barr said, which was exactly what Todd chastised him for not saying. The rest of Barr’s answer was, “I think a fair history would say it was a good decision because it upheld the rule of law,” Barr said. “It upheld the standards of the Department of Justice, and it undid what was an injustice.”

NBC’s Twitter account tweeted out the following apology: “You’re correct. Earlier today, we inadvertently and inaccurately cut short a video clip of an interview with AG Barr before offering commentary and analysis. The remaining clip included important remarks from the attorney general that we missed, and we regret the error.”

Inadvertently? Give me a break. You don’t think Todd saw the entire clip of Barr? Of course he did, he’s a journalist, right? This is just more fake news. I look forward to the on-air apology.  None of these corporate media outlets are reporting that Barr didn’t make the decision to drop the Flynn case by himself but that it was U.S. Attorney Jeff Jensen, an FBI agent for more than a decade before becoming a U.S. attorney, who investigated the case and made a recommendation to A.G. Barr. But they want to keep demonizing Barr and it’s a great thing he doesn’t care.

Of course, President Trump chimed into the scandal:

Obama checks in on Flynn case dismissal

A “private call” (LOLOL) of Obama talking to members of his former administration (coup participants) has somehow made it to the press and we learn from this entirely unplanned leak that Obama said “rule of law is at risk”  because the DoJ decided to drop the manufactured and unjustified case against. Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn. Does anyone really believe that someone in the Obama cult leaked the conversation without approval from the top? And the conversation was leaked to none other than the notorious Michael Isikoff, conduit for Christopher Steele’s RUSSIAN disinformation vector: the Steele dossier.

“The news over the last 24 hours I think has been somewhat downplayed — about the Justice Department dropping charges against Michael Flynn,” Obama said in a web talk with members of the Obama Alumni Association.

“And the fact that there is no precedent that anybody can find for someone who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free. That’s the kind of stuff where you begin to get worried that basic — not just institutional norms — but our basic understanding of rule of law is at risk. And when you start moving in those directions, it can accelerate pretty quickly as we’ve seen in other places.”

You know what Obama needs to answer? What did he know about the spying on the Trump campaign? What did he know about the abuse of the 702 about queries? Where are those answers?

Flynn lawyer fingered Obama’s involvement in the coup on FNC this weekend.

Powell said the “whole thing was orchestrated and set up within the FBI, Clapper, Brennan and in the Oval Office meeting that day with President Obama,” she told Maria Bartiromo, the anchor.

Bartiromo asked Powell if she believed the scandal reached up to Obama, and Powell responded, “Absolutely.”

Trump later tweeted, “OBAMAGATE,” indicating that he believes that Obama worked to undermine his presidency.

And we learned from the latest document dump of all the interview transcripts House Intel Chair Adam Schiff, that Obama new all about the “Logan Act” boondoggle. Sally Yates, the fired DoJ official testified under oath that it was Obama who told her about Flynn’s mythological Logan Act violation because he knew about the transcripts of the Flynn/Kislyak call. Who came up with the Logan Act idea?
