Morning Greatness: Democrats Maneuver in New Hampshire Ahead of Primary

Good Monday morning.

Here’s what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president delivers remarks at the White House Business Session with our Nation’s Governors
  • President Trump has lunch with the Secretary of State
  • The president greets Parkland Families
  • President Trump delivers remarks at a Keep America Great Rally in Manchester, NH

Hey, lyin’ dog-faced pony soldier, the New Hampshire primary is tomorrow

Let’s hope New Hampshire goes smoother than the Iowa fiasco. Sanders is leading the pack with Mayor Pete in second place. Warren, Biden and Amy! are trailing behind. A Suffolk/Boston Globe poll has Bernie leading with 27% and Mayor Pete with 19%. Amy! clocks in with 14% and Warren and Biden have 12% of the vote. How long before Biden and Warren taps out of the presidential race?

Along those lines, it looks like Biden has completely cracked up. Out on the campaign trail in New Hampshire a Biden event attendee asked Joe, “How do you explain the performance in Iowa and why should voters believe that you can win the national election?” according to a clip of the exchange. Biden responded, “Iowa’s a caucus. Have you ever been to a caucus?” and the woman responded she had not. Biden replied, “No, you haven’t. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier.”

Sure, I suppose that is one persuasion tactic. The phrase originates from a John Wayne movie, but I’m not sure it should have been used on a campaign trail. The young lady asking the question spoke about her experience to the Washington Post.

“I read an article that he said [Iowa] was a punch to the gut, and I’m not one to just push on wounds. I’m not trying to humiliate anyone,” Madison Moore, a 21-year-old student said.

“He wasn’t sitting in at the Senate trials for impeachment, so he had Iowa to himself. And then you’ve been a politician for like decades — how are you not way above all the other candidates?”

I agree Madison, I agree.

So there was an award show last night…

I did not watch the Oscars so I can only read the media reports of what is always guaranteed to be a carnival of wokeness. Based on the news reports, the show certainly delivered. The award for Best Picture went to a non-English film for the first time in history with South Korea’s movie”Parasite.” I might have to watch that only because there is no finger-wagging, American leftists proselytizing their woke agenda to me. I just want to see a good story when I watch a movie not a struggle session.

Impeachment fall out continues

On Friday, President Trump fired EU Ambassador Gordon Sondland and removed the Vindman twins from their assignments on the NSC. The media and Democrats are freaking out but the president should have people around him that he trusts and people around him that are on board with his agenda. All of these “heroes” in the bureaucratic resistance should have resigned if they couldn’t do their job. Instead, they chose to sabotage the president because they have an overinflated sense of themselves.

Democrats are trying to claim that Trump really wasn’t acquitted because the Senate trial was “unfair.” Well, I guess he wasn’t really impeached because the House impeachment hearings weren’t “fair” either, eh?

“I think he’s not been exonerated,” California Rep. Zoe Lofgren said to Anderson Cooper. Colorado Rep. Jason Crow quickly chimed in, adding that “it’s hard to have an acquittal without a fair trial.”

That’s not how it works.
