Two women were arrested Friday after they blew through up to two security check points at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office said 30-year-old Hannah Roemhild was driving a black SUV erratically at approximately 11:40 a.m. and refused to stop. Officers reportedly fired shots at the SUV as it sped towards the main entrance of the resort. The vehicle continued to flee from Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers and a Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office (PBSH) helicopter until they caught up with her.
Roemhild and another woman were taken into custody uninjured.

Roemhild, according to her Facebook page, is an opera singer, and doesn’t fit the profile of a Trump-deranged leftist.
According to Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw, Roemhild was “impaired” when she breached the property and wasn’t “even remotely close” to getting into the “inner perimeter” of the president’s “Winter White House.”
The incident reportedly started when officers approached her car at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. The police were responding to a report that a woman was dancing on top of her car.
Bradshaw said that when officers first approached her, she was inside her car and would not respond when they tapped on the window. Officers finally smashed through the window glass and she drove away. She crashed through two checkpoints before authorities caught up to her. Bradshaw says she will be charged with assault on a federal officer, deadly assault on two sheriff’s deputies and traffic charges.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is reportedly investigating the shooting and the FBI is also involved.
The president was not at the estate at the time, but was scheduled to arrive there later Friday.
There have been several other intrusions into Mar-a-Lago since Trump became president.
