Chinese Students Arrested in Florida for Taking Pictures of Military Base

Two Chinese students were arrested in Key West, Florida for illegally taking pictures of a United States military installation, according to Fox News.

The students were Yuhao Wang and Jielun Zhang, who are both 24 and both allegedly attend the University of Michigan. When they attempted to enter the Sigsbee Annex in the Naval Air Station, they were turned away by security but drove onto the property anyway. They were later found inside the facility, taking pictures with their cell phones and a Nikon camera.

The Navy has since been cataloguing all of the photos and videos that were taken by the two students. Both students were assigned attorneys at a hearing on Monday, and are scheduled to appear at a detention hearing on Friday.
