Former Obama Doctor Says Joe Biden is ‘Not a Healthy Guy’

A doctor who formerly worked for former President Barack Obama recently claimed that the former vice president is not nearly as healthy as his campaign claims he is, according to Fox News.

Dr. David Scheiner responded to a letter recently released by the Biden campaign which claimed that Biden is “healthy” and “vigorous” despite his age of 77. Scheiner responded by saying that Biden is “not a healthy guy” and “has a lot of issues.”

Dr. Scheiner further explained his reasoning, saying that while “he’s not in bad shape for his age, I wouldn’t say he’s in outstanding health. Could I guarantee he won’t have issues for the next four years? He has a lot of issues that are just sort of sitting there.”

Scheiner similarly criticized former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who is also 77 and who recently released his own medical history, including a doctor’s description of his health as “outstanding.” Scheiner responded with “With that history, I wouldn’t call it outstanding health.”

Although Biden is still leading most polls for the Democratic nomination, issues concerning his age and health have plagued his campaign, including his occasional bouts of stuttering and sometimes incoherent sentences that have brought his sanity into question.
