Morning Greatness: Broken Partisan Professors Make ‘Constitutional’ Case to Impeach Trump

Good Thursday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president participates in a luncheon with the Permanent Representatives of the United Nations Security Council
  • President Trump delivers remarks at the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
  • The president delivers remarks at a Christmas Reception

ImpeachmentTV: Parade of Trump Derangement

Yesterday, the House Judiciary led by Democrat ball of impeachment fury Jerry Nadler and his booster seat, presented a panel of highly-credentialed white people to quack about how Trump should be impeached from a constitutional perspective. When I say “highly-credentialed” I refer to their NeverTrump credentials because these three clowns have been howling against Trump for years. No rational watcher, and I doubt there were any rational watchers just political junkies/employees, would find this performance art in any way credible or persuasive. The event was a straight up PR exercise. The GOP did get one witness, lawyer Jonathan Turley who is also not a Trump supporter but is a reasonable and honest professor of constitutional law.

One of the most shameful moments was when the angry and broken Pamela Karlan, a Stanford professor, took a swipe at Trump’s 13-year-old son Barron. This is truly a measure of the level of one’s derangement: when you are surrounded with other deranged people, no one thinks to tell you it’s not cool to attack a child just because you hate the kid’s father. Karlan is like one of those Facebook moms who posts trash talk about children in her kid’s class that her kid doesn’t like. You know the kind of person I am talking about, weaponizing invites to her kid’s birthday party.  What a hateful person. Melania Trump responded to this hateful person’s behavior.

The big takeaway from the hearing is: WTF have the law schools turned into? Don’t send your kid to law school.

So what’s next? CNN reports that there could be more hearings next week. The hearing could include “testimony from Democratic and GOP staff attorneys on the House Intelligence Committee presenting the findings of their investigations.” The House Judiciary Committee could vote on articles of impeachment next week with the House voting on impeachment the week of December 16 depending on what Pelosi decides to do.

John Solomon: There will be 6 to 12 instances of wrong doing in Horowtiz report

Write it down on your calendars, if you haven’t already, because Monday is THE BIG DAY, the day when the Horowitz report on FISA abuse will be released. We’ve seen a bunch of puff stories/crisis communication about various derp state characters who are obviously implicated. Reporter John Solomon said on Hannity last night, “I think everybody that is reporting on it now is just conjecturing or getting fragments from people who have a motive to get ahead of the story,” he said. “There’s going to be six to twelve findings of wrongdoing, malfeasance [and] mistakes that were made in the FISA process.”

“This is going to be a very, very powerful road map, and it’s going to lead to months of debate and additional action, including discipline and possible prosecutions,” said Solomon.

The FISA law was temporarily extended until March 2020. It’s imperative that the FISA provision does not get renewed without some serious changes and restrictions.

George Zimmerman files BOMBSHELL lawsuit

This is bonkers and yet totally believable. Luke Rosiak at The Daily Caller writes about the lawsuit:

  • The Trayvon Martin case was built on an elaborate fraud, with Rachel Jeantel pretending to be the girlfriend who was on the phone with Martin at the time of his death, George Zimmerman says in a new lawsuit.
  • The actual phone witness was Diamond Eugene, who was replaced when she would not testify, the suit says. Martin’s parents participated in the swap, it says.
  • Prosecutors withheld key evidence from Zimmerman, including falsely telling the defense team that Martin’s cellphone was broken, it says.

The most shocking thing about this is the stones it takes to pull this off. The suit seeks $100 million from the two women and Martin’s parents. The suit also targets “the state of Florida and its prosecutors, who allegedly initially falsely told the defense that Martin’s cellphone was too damaged to extract its data, when it actually contained evidence damaging to their case.”

Other evidence on the “damaged” phone “includes not only evidence of the witness swap, but also texts showing Martin previously discussing gun sales and bragging of beating up a “snitch” and saying, ‘He aint bleed nuff 4 me, only his nosez.’ Prosecutors also ran out the clock by repeatedly ignoring the defense’s entitlement to exculpatory evidence, the suit says.”

George Zimmerman, to remind you, was a “white Hispanic” man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin. Martin was loitering in a neighborhood where he didn’t belong and attacked  Zimmerman, when Zimmerman took out his gun and shot the punk. The race pimps pounced following the shooting and America was treated to a steady flow of “you are racists, we are all wearing hoodies in solidarity with Treyvon” for months.
