Pete Buttigieg, in Spanish, Promises Free Healthcare for Illegal Aliens

South Bend Mayor and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg (D-Ind.) was caught on-camera telling a Hispanic woman, in Spanish, that illegal aliens will be given free healthcare if he becomes President of the United States, as Breitbart reports.

The exchange took place at a diner in South Carolina, where Buttigieg sat down with the woman and began talking in Spanish after she asked him a question. His response, translated, included the statement that his administration would provide “the opportunity to buy this plan of Medicare for all who want it…and this opportunity to buy this plan is for everyone regardless of their immigration status.”

Responding to the leaked clip, Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said “Just because Pete Buttigieg is from Indiana doesn’t make him a moderate.”

The exchange solidified Buttigieg’s stance dating back to the very first Democratic primary debate, where he and all of the other nine candidates on-stage during the second night raised their hands when asked if their healthcare plans would provide free healthcare for illegal aliens.
