Morning Greatness: Trump Will Not Cooperate with Democrat Judiciary Clown Show

Good Monday morning.

Here is what’s on the President’s agenda today:

  • The president and First Lady are travelling to the London, UK for a NATO meeting

Impeachment theater resumes after Thanksgiving intermission

The Democrat House Intelligence Committee (HPSCI) will “review a report on the panel’s investigation into whether President Trump committed an impeachable act, specifically by allegedly withholding military aid to Ukraine until the country investigated former Vice President Joe Biden and his son.” The HPSCI kangaroos will then send over the report to Judiciary Committee kangaroos run by Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) where they will “consider” the report and possibly draft articles of impeachment.

The Democrats are in a box. They have not successfully turned public opinion in favor of their efforts and their impeachment will not be bipartisan so it looks like a political trick. Pelosi will have to put the Democrats who represent Trump districts on the record with an impeachment vote and then the impeachment articles head over the Senate for a trial, where the Democrats have no control and Trump will be able to challenge their accusations and fables. All the senators running for president will have to sit in the “trial” silently, so there’s no PR opportunity for grandstanders like Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, Kamala Harris and Corey “Spartacus” Booker while they are taken off the campaign trail. Or, they could choose not to impeach, which will infuriate their base. I have heard rumors the Democrats are trying to impeach the president without sending the articles to the Senate for a trial, so who knows how this will play out but it doesn’t look good for the Democrats.

Mark your calendar for Wednesday because there will be another pageant, this time of “constitutional experts” testifying about what constitutes an impeachable offense.

The Democrat grinches want to impeach Trump by Christmas, so HPSCI Chairman Adam Schiff is giving the Judiciary Democrats only 24 hours to review the report and sign off on the articles of impeachment. Chairman Jerry Nadler has already previewed the report, which is said to include wait for it…wait for it…wait for it…charges of collusion with RUSSIA as well as Ukraine.

Trump won’t participate in Judiciary impeachment clown show

President Trump will not participate in the House impeachment circus. The White House sent a nice letter over to the House Judiciary Committee expressing their position. (Here’s the entire letter.)

“This baseless and highly partisan inquiry violates all past historical precedent, basic due process rights, and fundamental fairness,” wrote White House counsel Pat Cipollone, continuing the West Wing’s attack on the procedural form of the impeachment proceedings. Cipollone said Nadler provided only “vague” details about the hearing, and that unnamed academics — and not “fact witnesses” — would apparently be attending.

“As for the hearing scheduled for December 4, we cannot fairly be expected to participate in a hearing while the witnesses are yet to be named and while it remains unclear whether the Judiciary Committee will afford the president a fair process through additional hearings,” Cipollone said. “More importantly, an invitation to an academic discussion with law professors does not begin to provide the President with any semblance of a fair process. Accordingly, under the current circumstances, we do not intend to participate in your Wednesday hearing.”

He continued: “When the Judiciary Committee scheduled a similar hearing during the Clinton impeachment process, it allowed those questioning the witnesses two-and-a-half weeks’ notice to prepare, and it scheduled the hearing on a date suggested by the president’s attorneys. Today, by contrast, you have afforded the president no scheduling input, no meaningful information and so little time to prepare that you have effectively denied the administration a fair opportunity to participate.

Republicans have urged Trump not to validate the Democrat’s impeachment jihad by showing up. Indeed.

London Bridge terrorist is a repeat offender

The UK let a violent Islamic terrorist out of jail early and he re-offended with another murderous attack. Usman Khan had originally been imprisoned for trying to bomb the London Stock Exchange in 2012. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the UK will review the early release of 74 convicted terrorists, after figuring out that these radicals might give it another go when they are let out of prison.

“I opposed [automatic release] both in 2003 and 2008, and now that I am prime minister I’m going to take steps to make sure that people are not released early when they commit… serious sexual, violent or terrorist offenses,” he told the BBC. “I absolutely deplore that fact that this man was out on the streets… and we are going to take action against it.”

Johnson said that these 74 formerly imprisoned terrorists had “committing serious crimes.” Terrorist Khan was originally sentenced to “indeterminate detention for ‘public protection'” but later re-sentenced to 16 years in prison. He was let out after 8 years. Brilliant.

Lisa Page, former FBI lawyer and coup participant, breaks her silence

Lisa Page, one half of the FBI’s hottest “it” coup couple, has broken her silence and spoken to wait for it…wait for it…wait for it…the Daily Beast. Why has she broken her silence now? “Honestly, his demeaning fake orgasm was really the straw that broke the camel’s back,” she told the Beast. I don’t know what she’s talking about do you? What is worse: to make fun of someone with a fake orgasm or to interfere with the U.S. electoral process, trash the civil liberties of Trump campaigners and then overthrow the duly elected POTUS. You decide.

“It’s almost impossible to describe” what it’s like, she told me. “It’s like being punched in the gut. My heart drops to my stomach when I realize he has tweeted about me again. The president of the United States is calling me names to the entire world. He’s demeaning me and my career. It’s sickening.”

“But it’s also very intimidating because he’s still the president of the United States. And when the president accuses you of treason by name, despite the fact that I know there’s no fathomable way that I have committed any crime at all, let alone treason, he’s still somebody in a position to actually do something about that. To try to further destroy my life. It never goes away or stops, even when he’s not publicly attacking me.”

Right. One reason Page might be speaking is because the Horowitz report on FISA shenanigans is set to be released next week and she might be trying to get out in front of the findings. Good luck Lisa!
