ImpeachmentTV: Season finale recap

One has to wonder why these bureaucrats were so hell bent against an investigation of Burisma? How are these government employees paying for their fancy pants Democrat lawyers? These are questions that need answers.

Yesterday we heard from two of the derp state’s finest: David Holmes, a foreign affairs bureaucrat and Fiona Hill, a RUSSIA expert who was on the National Security Council. Holmes is the guy who “overheard” a conversation between Ambassador Gordon Sondland and President Trump. Rep. Ratcliffe filleted this whippersnapper in his questioning when he asked him about other elements of this phone call: what else did the president say? Holmes had some difficulty remembering Trump’s other remarks which was curious. After all he had no problems remembering the part about Trump’s derogatory talk about the Ukraine. Holmes claimed that he couldn’t hear that part, he could only hear the part that happened to be damaging to the president. Holmes also told  a bunch of people about this conversation which was so memorable to him but entirely forgettable to Ambassador Taylor who only remembered it recently. In addition, Holmes delivered a self-righteous, resistance-esque opening statement so there was no question what this guys attitude was. Someone needs to tell him his only job is to execute the policy decisions of the president.

Fiona Hill made it very clear what her disposition was when she asserted in her opening statement that Republicans on the Intelligence Committee deny that the RUSSIANS interfered with the 2016 election. That is a straight up lie easily disproved because the Senate Intelligence Republicans produced a comprehensive report detailing exactly that. Now this woman is supposed to be a RUSSIA expert but did not read a Senate Intelligence report on RUSSIAN election interference? Sure. Of course. Her real purpose was to undermine John Solomon’s reporting on Ukraine. Solomon has been the subject of all kinds of hit pieces lately, I wonder why? But why would Hill or any of the Democrats be so opposed to an investigation into the Ukraine’s election influence, if indeed they are concerned with foreign election interference? They were certainly excited to spend tens of millions of tax dollars on the Mueller investigation about RUSSIA. Hill also claimed that Ambassador Sondland was on a “political errand” regarding his efforts to get an investigation into Ukraine influence and public admission of these investigations, but why? Why did she decide Ukrainian corruption were “political errands?”

Overall, I don’t think these hearings are helping the Democrats sweep up impeachment support and I don’t think people who aren’t already politically invested are paying attention. Recent polls show public support for this exhibition is dwindling. Next stop, the House Judiciary Committee.

Former FBI lawyer under investigation for altering documents in 2016 probe

Anytime you see one of these articles about the DoJ or the RUSSIA investigation that has a “leak” you have to wonder cui bono? The corporate media doesn’t report news, they report propaganda so I have to ask: what is the purpose of this story and who is it providing cover for?

A former FBI lawyer is under criminal investigation after allegedly altering a document related to 2016 surveillance of a Trump campaign adviser, several people briefed on the matter told CNN.

The possibility of a substantive change to an investigative document is likely to fuel accusations from President Donald Trump and his allies that the FBI committed wrongdoing in its investigation of connections between Russian election meddling and the Trump campaign.

The finding is expected to be part of Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s review of the FBI’s effort to obtain warrants under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act on Carter Page, a former Trump campaign aide. Horowitz will release the report next month.

“Likely to fuel accusations.” Well I can’t imagine why, dummies. The information has been turned over to U.S. Attorney John Durham who is investigating the origins of the whole RUSSIA hoax. Here’s some more interesting information about this story. CTH suggests the line attorney is Kevin Clinesmith.

Fox News reports:

The Post, hours after publishing its story, conspicuously removed the portion of its reporting that the FBI employee involved was underneath Peter Strzok, the FBI’s since-fired head of counterintelligence. The Post did not offer an explanation for the change, which occurred shortly after midnight. Earlier this week, the DOJ highlighted a slew of anti-Trump text messages sent by Strzok when he was leading the Hillary Clinton email investigation and the probe into the Trump campaign.

Well slap my face and call me Sally.
