Morning Greatness: Sondland Delivers Dumpster Fire Testimony

Good Thursday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president receives his intelligence briefing
  • President Trump and the First Lady  present the National Medal of Arts and the National Humanities Medal

I have a condensed version of the Greatness for you today, I am sick. I think I’ve been poisoned by watching these congressional hearings. I do want to bring a few things to your attention but know that I tapped out after the Sondland exhibition and did not watch the second tribunal and I certainly did not watch the Democrat debate.

The Sondland advertorial was an unmitigated disaster. Sondland’s opening statement, circulated to the media vultures beforehand, came in hot and then Sondland waffled and walked back his most explosive claims. YES, THERE WAS A QUID PRO QUO was the big bombshell, explosive statement in his opening remarks but then we find out no one told him that, he just presumed there was a quid pro quo. Right. I’ve repeatedly written here that it was a terrible mistake to say Trump didn’t engage in a quid pro quo, of course he did. All foreign policy is a quid pro quo, there are always terms and conditions to receive U.S. money. To say otherwise is ridiculous and it buys into the left’s compulsive tactic of criminalizing Trump’s executive actions. But now, some bloated political consultant or staffer decided the path forward would deny Trump conducted standard diplomacy. Idiots. Now where do they go?

Another notable moment from Sondland’s allocution was that he had no idea the Biden syndicate had anything to do with Burisma. Speaking of that, Ukraine’s top prosecutor announced an expanded investigation into Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky who is on the lam, whereabouts unknown. Here’s another story Zero Hedge writes up, Ukrainian MP Claims $7.4 Billion Obama-Linked Laundering, Puts Biden Group Take At $16.5 Million:

“The son of Vice-President Joe Biden was receiving payment for his services, with money raised through criminal means and money laundering,” he then said, adding “Biden received money that did not come from the company’s successful operation but rather from money stolen from citizens.”

Woah Nellie, that sounds terrible, but the good news is that the corporate media will pretend this isn’t happening and it will not appear on any news website or on cable news shows. It will be memory-holed OR the people involved in the investigation will be “tied” to Trump or accused of corruption themselves. Or perhaps this investigation has already been “discredited” and “debunked,” another tool in the Democrat tool belt. Senator Lindsey “I write letters” Graham has announced he is trying to get transcripts of Veep Biden’s phone call with Ukrainian leaders. This is a great idea but Graham is big smack talker who never closes the deals his mouth makes. In fact, Trump should declassify all of Obama’s phone calls with foreign leaders so we can be certain there was no QUID PRO QUOs going down. Ha!

It looks like ImpeachmentTV isn’t helping the Democrats. A new poll from Marquette shows that the very important state of Wisconsin has turned against the impeachment show trial and now Trump is beating all the top Democrat presidential candidates in the head to head race. Keep it up, dummies.

Finally, Graham also said that the FISA report will be released on December 9. We’ll see but I’m ready if it happens.

Warning: there are more hearings today. We will hear from Fiona Hill formerly of the NSC and David Holmes, a State Department bureaucrat. May G-d help us.
