Morning Greatness: ImpeachmentTV to Premiere Next Week

Good Thursday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president receives his intelligence briefing
  • President Trump participates in a greeting in recognition of the National Day for the Victims of Communism
  • The president presents the Presidential Citizens Medal
  • President Trump delivers remarks at a fundraising committee reception at the Trump International Hotel

Must not see TV: Impeachment Follies coming to your idiot box next week

The Hill describes Watergate-style TV impeachment hearings will begin next week.

The trio of witnesses called to testify next week in the first public impeachment hearings are some of the biggest names and most significant players in the Democrats’ sprawling six-week probe into allegations President Trump pressured a foreign power to investigate his political rivals.

House Democrats know that millions of Americans will be tuning in to watch the impeachment inquiry for the first time now that weeks of closed-door depositions are giving way to televised Watergate-style hearings that are set for next Wednesday and Friday.

A blockbuster! With the biggest names! Significant players! Millions will watch the holiday impeachment festival! Sounds like box office poison. Here we see The Hill lie and claim that “Trump pressured a foreign power to investigate his political rivals.” He did not, he pressured the Ukraine to investigate well-documented government corruption. It’s just inconvenient for the resistance media to have the corruption investigated so they pretend Trump asked for his “political rivals” heads. Their followers will believe this.

“You want to have as big of a blockbuster coming out of the gate as possible,” said a senior Democratic aide close to the impeachment probe. “The benefit of these guys is they can tell the totality of events; they can tell the whole story.”

Lights, camera, action!

‘Whistleblower’ lawyer has been pushing impeachment since 2017

It looks like the lawyer for the fake whistleblower has been pushing hard for impeachment immediately upon Trump taking office. So not just another legal patriot looking out for truth and justice?

Mark Zaid, one of the attorneys representing the whistleblower at the center of the Democrats’ ongoing impeachment inquiry, tweeted conspicuously in January 2017 that a “coup has started” and that “impeachment will follow ultimately.”

Then, in July 2017, Zaid remarked, “I predict @CNN will play a key role in @realDonaldTrump not finishing out his full term as president.”

Amid a slew of impeachment-related posts, Zaid also assured his Twitter followers that “as one falls, two more will take their place,” referring to outgoing Trump administration employees.

He sure nailed CNN, didn’t he?

“The whistleblower’s lawyer gave away the game,” the Trump campaign’s communications director, Tim Murtaugh. told Fox News. “It was always the Democrats’ plan to stage a coup and impeach President Trump and all they ever needed was the right scheme. They whiffed on Mueller so now they’ve settled on the perfectly fine Ukraine phone call. This proves this was orchestrated from the beginning.”

Indeed.

Mums the word

Say, where are all those thinkstories about ABC protecting Jeffrey Epstein and his clients? Earlier this week, James O’Keefe delivered a bombshell video of an ABC News personality complaining that she had collected all the goods on Epstein three years ago and the network tossed it on the trash pile because it didn’t meet their exacting standards for broadcast. The very same standards allowed them to air ridiculous, unverified salacious gossip about Brett Kavanaugh? Whatever.

Why would a network hide an expose of rich, powerful sexually deviant men who liked underage girls? Perhaps some of their heroes or senior management were implicated, I don’t know. But ABC news is very concerned about the leaker of the tape. Crazy, right, because ABC News loves to air all sorts gossip and rumors they get from their “anonymous officials not authorized to talk on the subject” when it comes to Trump.

ABC News chiefs have discovered a former employee could be behind the leak of the damning footage of Amy Robach slamming the network for shelving her interview with Jeffrey Epstein’s “sex slave” Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

Sources told Page Six that a former staffer had access to the footage of Robach as she aired her frustrations over a hot mike. The employee is now believed to be working at CBS. ABC sources confirmed to us they’ve informed counterparts at rival CBS about the staffer “as a courtesy.”

“We have good reason to believe this person had access to the footage, but what we don’t know is whether they would have shared it directly with Project Veritas or a couple of others and it made its way to Project Veritas.”

Shame ABC for trying to unmask this whistleblower. Ha!
