Morning Greatness: Impeachmentistas Score Victory in House Vote

Good Friday morning. Rabbit! Rabbit!

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president receives his intelligence briefing
  • President Trump delivers remarks at Keep America Great Rally, Tupelo, MS

Impeachment Follies ARE ON

It’s ON. The vote to let Rep. Adam Schiff and the House Intel. Committee (HPSCI) continue their daily, secret tribunals passed the House with two Democrats voting against because they want to get reelected. The “rules” which can be distilled down to “the whim of the Democrats” don’t let the GOP do anything unless Adam and Nancy are good with it. So nothing is different. Now, how will this ridiculous exercise play out before the public? Will voters think this is unfair? We know there are hard core partisans that have picked their side and won’t be moved but in an election no one cares about those people. They ain’t moving. But how will the non-partisans, non hyper-political people break? Will they think it’s strange that the clowns they put into office have done jack squat other than go after President Trump?

According to McDaniel, the rules are:
1. Schiff must grant permission to Rs to call a witness.
2. Schiff can instruct a witness not to answer questions.
3. Schiff decides what evidence Americans/Judiciary sees.
Oh, and @realDonaldTrump ’s counsel cannot attend.

Sounds great.

A note about Vindman

Alexander Vindman, the darling of the Impeachmentistas, will testify in the open, according to The Hill. Vindman who is almost certainly the main source for alleged whistleblower and derp stater partisan Eric Ciaramella, has been celebrated as a hero for saying that the famous UKRAINE call transcript had omissions and he was not allowed to edit or “fix” it.

Let’s clear this up for all the transcript truthers: there were four, FOUR, people writing down the call. Once the call was over, they gatherd, agreed on a final version and the transcript goes in the can. When Vindman tried to “edit” the transcript he could not. Well, right he could not. You don’t think they let any rando go in and edit a presidential call transcript, do you? What he could do and did was bring up his objection to the FOUR people who wrote up the call. And they REJECTED his  proposed edits. So that’s the scoop from one of my congressional sources.

Adam Schiff’s leaking machine oozed out:

“I was concerned by the call. I did not think it was proper to demand that a foreign government investigate a U.S. citizen, and I was worried about the implications for the U.S. government’s support of Ukraine,” Vindman said in his opening statement.

“I realized that if Ukraine pursued an investigation into the Bidens and [natural gas company] Burisma, it would likely be interpreted as a partisan play, which would undoubtedly result in Ukraine losing the bipartisan support it has thus far maintained,” he added.

Or it would be viewed as an investigation into corruption and show the Ukraine is serious about cleaning itself up? You decide. Perhaps the most important thing is it is NOT this guy’s job to make these calls, it’s the president’s job.  Has anyone asked Lindman about this letter?

We haven’t heard any rumblings about a letter making demands on the Ukraine written by three Democrat senators.

In May 2018, Democratic Sens. Bob Menendez (NJ), Dick Durbin (IL) and Patrick Leahy (VT) sent a letter to Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko pressing his office to cooperate with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

Two days before the senators wrote this letter, the New York Times reported that Ukraine had frozen investigations related to the Mueller probe.

The senators remind Lutsenko of everything the U.S. has done for his country and essentially tell him, it would be a shame if that were to end.

How ’bout dat?

Let’s get real: Democrats were first to enlist Ukraine in US elections

Your moment of zen from the Derp State:

Rep. Katie Hill (D-Calif.) flounces out of Congress as media gives her a hero’s good-bye

Rep. Katie Hill, who introduced the public to the “thruple” spent her last day in congress yesterday, making a big speech and blaming her exit on vicious right-wing blogs. She is referring to Red State and other outlets that published pictures of her thruple relationship. She’s in the middle of a divorce, I guess her angry husband sent the pictures around, Hill claims her husband was abusive, I don’t know. Why do people take naked pictures of themselves, their junk etc. and send them around? Don’t do this.

Whatever Hill did during her campaign isn’t the business of the congressional ethics machine, but you know what is? Screwing your legislative director and that is what was alleged and under investigation. Pelosi told Hill to GTFO. You cannot canoodle with your staffers, I don’t care what your gender is. Elected officials all know they aren’t allowed to do this, isn’t Hill a big #metoo fan?

“My understanding is that a couple of those staffers; they had proof that she was having an affair with one of her staffers,” Messina reported. “The Ethics Committee found out hard and fast that she did have that relationship.” GAME OVER, KATIE.

Bye. There’s no double standard here, she needs to go just like any other congressfreak that gets nasty with their staff. In fact, I will go a step further: Americans needs to know which elected officials have had their victims paid off with tax payer dollars. Wouldn’t you think the left and the SJWs would be all over this? I don’t suggest victims be revealed, merely the politicos who we all had to pay it forward for. Why hasn’t this happened yet? I know the answer…can you guess?
