Morning Greatness: Trump Kept Democrat ‘Leaking Machine’ in the Dark on Raid

Good Monday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president delivers remarks and signs an executive order at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Conference and Exposition in Chicago, IL
  • President Trump participates in a roundtable with supporters in Chicago, IL
  • The president delivers remarks at a joint fundraising committee luncheon
  • The president and first lady participate in Halloween at the White House

U.S. kills terrorist scum leader, media-Democrat reaction as expected

Did you watch the president’s press conference yesterday? I was more excited to watch the media-Democrat pageant of hysteria that I predicted would follow upon the news of our military slaughtering ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Most notable among reactions, was the Washington Post headline that described the rapist and murderer as an “austere religious scholar.”

Initially, the Post had lead with a headline that described al-Baghdadi as the “Islamic State’s terrorist-in-chief” but perhaps that was too harsh?

Other predictable reactions that I found enjoyable was the talking point that Trump was too provocative in his description of Baghdadi’s death. If we say mean things, it will embolden the terrorists so the conventional wisdom goes.

The big “scandal” is that Trump did not tell the Democrats about the kill mission. He said it was because he was worried about leaking. Good on him, the Democrats leak without regard in the service of damaging the president, he was right not to trust not only the Democrat leadership, but all the future “whistleblowers” that work on their staffs.

“No, I didn’t. I didn’t do that. I wanted to make sure this kept secret,” Trump said. “I don’t want to have people lost.”

Pelosi was upset but who cares? “The House must be briefed on this raid, which the Russians but not top Congressional Leadership were notified of in advance, and on the Administration’s overall strategy in the region,” Pelosi said. “Our military and allies deserve strong, smart and strategic leadership from Washington.”

Notice how Pelosi slips in that remark about the RUSSIANS. The president clearly said we did not tell any country what we were up to, but we did have to tell them we were doing something so that they didn’t think we were invading and shoot our men down. But of course, Pelosi has to get her dig in, trying to keep that RUSSIA mythology alive.

Our military doesn’t deserve exploitation in the Democrats’ war against Trump. “We’ve notified some, others are being notified now as I speak,” Trump said. “We were going to notify them last night but we decided not to do that because Washington leaks like I’ve never seen before.”

I’m sure Democrat negging on the mission will continue into this week.

Democrats continue assault on A.G. Barr, DoJ

People are nervous. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) is on a mission to smear A.G. Barr and the Department of Justice to taint any findings coming out of the DoJ.

Takes one to know one. “Bill Barr, on the president’s behalf, is weaponizing the Justice Department to go after the president’s enemies,” Schiff said on ABC‘s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.” “He’s demonstrating once again that he is merely a tool of the president, the president’s hand, not the representative of the American people.”

You can feel the panic.

“If these reports are correct and now Bill Barr’s Justice Department is doing a criminal investigation of people who properly looked into Russian interference in our election in the FBI or the intelligence agencies, it means that Bill Barr on the president’s behalf is weaponizing the Justice Department to go after the president’s enemies,” Schiff told Martha Raddatz on ABC’s “This Week.”

This is just silly and you can really see how the Democrats’ strategy is to manipulate the public with propaganda leaked out via a complicit press. Both U.S. Attorney John Durham and A.G. Barr were highly respected by all pre-Trump. Now we are supposed to believe they have been co-opted by Trump, and for what? What’s the pay off for jettisoning their honor? No matter, get that narrative out there.

Rep. Katie Hill (D-Calif.) will resign

Rep. Katie Hill (D-Calif.) who introduced the term “thruple” into the public consciousness will resign from office. Hill has been in the headlines after it was revealed she and her husband had a relationship with a campaign staffer. Pictures of the relationship were leaked online. The relationship is over and the married couple are in the process of divorcing.

“It is with a broken heart that today I announce my resignation from Congress,” Hill said in a statement Sunday. “This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but I believe it is the best thing for my constituents, my community, and our country.”

Hill was also alleged to have a relationship with a current staffer, her legislative director. The House Ethics Committee announced last week it was opening an investigation into the allegations. Whatever went on with Hill is probably worse than what we currently know. Bon voyage.
