Hillary Sees Russians!

Gam Gam Clinton is back at it, spreading conspiracy theories, without evidence (as they say), that U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) has been “groomed” by the Russians to run as a third-party candidate in 2020. Let’s unpack that suggestion for just a moment, shall we?

Hillary Clinton, whose Clinton Foundation received millions from Russia and people tied to the Kremlin, whose husband received $500,000 from a Russian state bank, who herself undoubtedly helped facilitate the sale of 20 percent of U.S. uranium reserves to Russia, is now saying Gabbard is a Russian plant. Mmmmmmm. Deflection much?

But let’s say, for one hot half-second, there’s something to Gam Gam’s theory: by saying “groomed,” she’s insinuating that the former vice-chair of her own party and a sitting member of the House Armed Services and Foreign Affairs committees, is actively in touch with Russian agents. Not an unknowing stooge, but a willing asset who has been trained by and is working with the Russians.

Of course, we all know this has no connection to reality and that Clinton’s concern, in any event, stems from issues other than Gabbard’s alleged disloyalty.

How do we know? On the day Clinton launched this bizarre conspiracy theory, the State Department announced that nearly 600 emails and more than three-dozen people were suspected of mishandling classified information as it was being transferred from the State Department to Clinton’s home-brewed private server.

But it’s likely you didn’t hear about that juicy item as Clinton’s wild accusation sucked all the oxygen out of the room.

As I have been saying for several years now, whatever James Comey was doing, it wasn’t a real investigation into Clinton’s private server. Let’s call his investigation the equivalent of a nice walk through the woods. But now things are heating up.

Even Friday’s news dump doesn’t entirely explain Hillary’s bizarre accusations. Hillary’s baseless attacks on Gabbard—a leftie, mind you, and no friend of conservatives—are also about the ruling-class elites attacking anyone and everyone who disagrees with their interventionist, regime-change politics.

Donald Trump doesn’t agree with our broken foreign policy? He’s Putin’s puppet! Tulsi Gabbard thinks we should end regime-change wars? She’s been groomed by the Russians to run third party to put the other Russian stooge back in the White House!

After the mess of the past three or four decades of U.S. policy in the Middle East, perhaps it’s time for Americans to question whether the people making these foreign policy decisions are all that intelligent.

Seriously. We’re accepting that these people aren’t complete idiots, but to accept that, we have to ignore that they are all credentialed members of what amounts to an idiocracy. What if we’ve filled our bloated powerful surveillance state, law enforcement, and foreign policy agencies with nothing more than idiots and mental dwarves and then entrusted them with all of this great power?

All Trump and Gabbard have done is ask whether what we’re doing with our foreign policy is actually to the benefit of the American people. Apparently, if you question that status quo, Hillary and her barking and clapping circus-seal media allies will scream, “The Russians are coming! The Russians are coming! Anyone who disagrees with us must be a Russian asset!”

This is getting old, fast. Russia has been meddling with our elections for decades, going back to the mid-20th century. This is not new. They meddled in 2016. Of course they did. Heck, Democrats back in the day even invited Russia to meddle with U.S. elections: see Chappaquiddick Teddy Kennedy actively reaching out to the Soviets to help derail Reagan’s 1984 re-election.

But right now the only party guilty of destabilizing our democracy isn’t Putin, but the Russian-collusion mongers who, without evidence, carried water for Putin and injected the conspiracy theory into the American bloodstream.

If anyone can be accused of being a Russian stooge, it sure as hell isn’t Tulsi Gabbard. If we had a real media, not the corrupt corporate leftist fake news we see these days, Hillary might actually be challenged on her bizarre statements. But the media can’t even do that because they’ve been part and parcel of the last three years of pushing Russian conspiracy theories.

So here we go, again. The only scenario I can hope for is that some miserable media figure gets tired of the utter stupidity and dares to question Hillary’s narrative and she in return calls that person a Russian asset.
