Morning Greatness: Pelosi Says There Will Be No Impeachment Inquiry Vote

Good Wednesday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president participates in a bilateral meeting with the President of the Italian Republic
  • President Trump participates in an expanded bilateral meeting with the President of the Italian Republic
  • The president participates in a joint press conference with the President of the Italian Republic
  • President Trump has lunch with the Secretary of State
  • The president meets with Congressional Leadership
  • President Trump participates in the arrival of the President of the Italian Republic
  • The president delivers remarks at a reception in honor of the Italian Republic

Did you watch the debate?

I didn’t. From what I’ve read and the clips I’ve watched it looks like it was business as usual. There isn’t much difference between the candidates, they are metaphysically equivalent. The debate was hosted by CNN and The New York Times and those outlets are interested parties in the outcome of the election, they don’t want to damage any single candidate who might advance to the general because ORANGE MAN BAD. The questions were softballs and canned candidate answers were given a pass. Boring.

This is important: Flynn Lawyer Asks DOJ to Produce ‘Brady Material’ from Joseph Mifsud’s Two BlackBerry Phones

If you have not read Sidney Powell’s book “License to Lie,” move it to the top of your list. Powell is Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn’s lawyer. Her book is the story of her experiences with the DoJ while defending her client who was wrongfully caught up the Enron dragnet. It is a horrifying look at the shenanigans the feds played as they tried to rack up convictions to pad their resumes. Once you finish that book, you will see that the RUSSIA-collusion/Crossfire Hurricane scam was actually standard operating procedure by an unaccountable bureaucratic “justice” machine.

Powell is hip to the DoJ trick of hiding exculpatory evidence and she’s calling them out now regarding the Flynn case. Good for her.

When I watch Pelosi’s highly-choreographed press conferences, I get the feeling she’s trying to convince herself of her righteousness just as much as she is trying to get the public to buy in to the Democrats’ plan.

“There’s no requirement that we have a vote, and so at this time we will not be having a vote,” Pelosi said. “We’re not here to call bluffs — we’re here to find the truth, to uphold the Constitution of the United States. This is not a game for us. This is deadly serious.”

How serious? As serious as the reasons the Democrats needed to impeach Trump after the sensational Mueller Report was released? What happened to those reasons because we were told those were DEADLY serious too.

There will be no vote, not because of any principles, but because Pelosi doesn’t want to put her vulnerable members on the record and she may not have the votes. Why hold a vote that could threaten her majority when there’s no downside and she will not be held accountable with negative media coverage for breaking from the norms and traditions of impeachment. (Why is Trump so dangerous for “breaking norms” but Pelosi’s norm-breaking is glossed right over?) Her clown Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) will continue to leak strategic information to the media to help damage the president and ignore the fact that, despite chest thumping about the seriousness of manufactured charges, this is entirely hidden from the public . There is no downside for the Democrats to hold a secret, hidden tribunal to impeach the elected President of the United States. It’s that simple and that’s why it is happening.

LeBron James: garbage person

I knew is his name but before this recent scandal, I didn’t know why he was famous, I just assumed he was another one of these Social Justice Wankers, bravely prosecuting thoughtcrimes on social media and the ‘gram, TokTik or Snap or Words with Friends. He could be a tenured professor or hold an endowed chair at Vassar, I assumed, based on his public political gesturing. Now, I learn he’s a rich, privileged NBA player who makes lots of Chinese money with his woke shoes and sports contracts.

Professor James is angry that one of the leagues’ managers likes for people to be free. James thinks this is an “uneducated” position to hold. And, Professor James wants to know why the freedom-loving gentleman wasn’t punished for his ideological transgressions.

The Hong Kong protestors get it.

Furious Hong Kong protesters burned and stomped on LeBron James basketball jerseys on Tuesday as the Lakers superstar faced mounting outrage over his comments on their pro-democracy demonstrations.

Activists vented their fury by chanting profane slogans and holding up signs supporting Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey, whom James on Monday called “misinformed or not really educated” for a since-deleted tweet of a meme that said “Fight for freedom. Stand with Hong Kong.”

As GWB would say, James is a major league a$$hole. Or whatever the NBA equivalent of that is.
