How Republican Dupes Help the Hoaxers

Last April, I wrote in a piece titled “How the Deep State Russia Conspirators May Escape”: “The Ukrainians just elected a comedian as their president because they’re as fed up by the West’s deep state shenanigans as we are. Maybe he’ll get to the bottom of it.”

I cited Politico’s investigative report dated January 11, 2017, “Ukrainian Efforts to Sabotage Trump Backfire,” showing that Ukraine was deeply involved in trying to create false Russian flags over Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

Recently it was disclosed that the comedian president is getting the goods on the bad guys. President Trump called him in July to encourage his anti-corruption efforts.

Standing in the way are the West’s spy agencies, its diplomatic corps, propagandists in the media, Rep. Adam Schiff (D.-Calif.), and a whole bunch of confused Republicans.

Now that this opera has finally reached its Ukrainian climax, things are proceeding according to script.

I predicted that, when cornered, the conspirators would cite Putin’s interference in the 2016 election, “to say that whatever they did to stop the Red Menace from interfering in our democracy makes them American heroes.”

As if on cue, John Brennan made the Sunday rounds to say that the investigation was warranted because Putin interfered.

On his July 25, 2019 radio show, Rush Limbaugh addressed the lock-step Republican cluelessness on Russian interference:

We are all being strung along on a totally made-up, delusional lie that the Russians meddled in the election. And now it’s gotten to the point where every Republican has to almost recite that it’s horrible. “The Russians meddled. It’s really bad, it’s really bad. We gotta stop this.”

Rush has been consistent and clear on the issue of whether Russia interfered: “I haven’t seen any evidence that they did!”

It takes real dupes to be handed undeserved victory in a generational realignment, only to question its source and validity.

Because if Trump was a product of KGB-esque intrigue, then Hillary was a victim of meddling. Trump was merely an unindicted hapless beneficiary. The deplorables are not only racist, stupid losers, they were also Putin’s unwitting stooges.

I was mistaken about one thing in my April analysis. I wrote, “Brennan will tell us that President Obama became concerned about Russian interference… and instructed the CIA to use all intelligence tools at its disposal to get to the bottom of it.”

Turns out, Brennan did not tell us that. Instead, James Clapper did last weekend.

Ukraine is the key because that’s where the global elites first started maneuvering to undo the results of an election they did not like.

In 2010, Ukrainians chose Russian orthodoxy and oil over EU multiculturalism, electing pro-Russian candidate Viktor Yanukovych as its president.

In 2013, John McCain flew to Kiev and fomented a coup d’etat, grabbing a megaphone to rile up a crowd on behalf of the EU, shouting “The destiny you seek lies in Europe.”

After successfully thwarting the democratic process in Ukraine with “Putin did it” nonsense, the usual suspects have tried the same trick with Brexit and Trump.

In June 2016, Great Britain voted to exit the EU. Less than a month later, British academic Dr. Andrew Foxall penned an op-ed in the New York Times, “Why Putin Loves Brexit.” He blamed Russia for the previous month’s Brexit vote, adding:

The United States is so concerned over Moscow’s determination to exploit European disunity that in January, James R. Clapper Jr., the director of national intelligence, began a review of Russia’s clandestine funding of European parties.

At precisely the same moment, candidate Trump began to question NATO’s continued relevance and to criticize America’s foreign policy in Ukraine.

Barr and Durham were in Italy last week more than likely to investigate whether our Western allies were returning Clapper’s favor and investigating the Trump campaign under the Five Eyes Agreement.

The FBI joined the fray when Peter Strzok flew to London and opened “Crossfire Hurricane.” That’s when it officially became a domestic spy operation, with the heavy lifting done by EU friendly vendors paid by the DNC, CrowdStrike, and Christopher Steele.

The good news is that Trump’s opponents, while powerful and dishonest, are also idiots. They truly believe that Ukraine, Brexit and Trump were not a rejection of the global elite’s Greta Thunberg-ism on the merits, but that voters were tricked by Putin.

Many easily suckered Republicans (especially of the NeverTrump variety) believe the same thing.

But the facts don’t lie. Once Washington insiders toppled the Ukraine government, they had undue sway over the new regime. That’s how Hunter Biden got his cushy deal. It is why CrowdStrike started fabricating anti-Russian propaganda for them. It explains Ukraine’s false Russian flag meddling in the presidential race on behalf of Hillary Clinton.

The only question now is whether Attorney General Barr is willing to defy the self-important and take this investigation to its necessary conclusion.

Russian interference was always just a deep state plot run through the puppet government in Ukraine to get Trump. The DNC stage managed the investigation via its paid contractors through James Comey’s FBI.

People have to go to jail for this.
