Cops Reportedly ‘Furious’ at Montgomery County Leadership Amid Spate of Illegal Alien Sex Crimes

Law enforcement officials in a Maryland county are reportedly “furious” at the county executive for protecting illegal aliens at the expense of law-abiding citizens, and are “taking matters into their own hands” to get the critical issue in front of the public.

Since July 25, police in Montgomery County have arrested at least seven confirmed illegal aliens for alleged rapes and sexual assaults, and in most of the cases the victims were minors. Rank and file police officers and prosecutors in the county are reportedly blaming the sex crime epidemic on the immigration policies County Executive Marc Elrich.

In the most recent case, a Honduran national in the United States illegally, allegedly raped his 15-year-old stepdaughter in suburban Maryland, according to  WJLA.

Emilio Carrasco-Hernandez, 37, of Hyattsville, is currently charged with second-degree rape, sex abuse of a minor, third-degree sex offense and fourth-degree sex offense.

On August 26, the 15-year-old girl spoke with Montgomery County Police’s Special Victims Investigation Division. She explained that her stepfather, Carrasco-Hernandez, had sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions between August 16 and August 25 of this year.

In one particular instance, the victim stated she was in her grandmother’s bedroom when Carrasco-Hernandez entered, pulled down her pants and underwear and began biting her shirt. The 5-foot-7-inches tall, 200-pound man then slowly walked the victim to the bed’s edge and lowered his own pants.

“Victim A stated that she could not move and Emilio Carrasco-Hernandez was squishing her with his body,” detectives wrote in court documents.

In a statement to WJLA, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said that Carrasco-Hernandez was previously deported in April of 2017, but re-entered the United States “sometime thereafter.”

Conservative talk show host Vince Coglianese told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tuesday night that rank and file law enforcement officers in Montgomery County are fed up with their corrupt and inept leadership.

“The reason why we’re suddenly hearing about this concentration of stories is not that this is a new phenomenon—it’s that rank and file police officers and prosecutors in Montgomery County are furious at their own leadership for allowing this problem to continue to fester for as long as it has,” Coglianese explained.

“These stories haven’t been public before because they’ve been trying to deal with them. But now they’re done trying to deal with them,” he continued. “Montgomery County leadership led by Marc Elrich, the county executive … have made it so that Montgomery County specifically is a place where illegal immigration is protected at all costs—even at the expense of the community.”

Elrich issued an executive order in July prohibiting Montgomery County employees from inquiring into the immigration status of any resident, American Greatness’ Liz Sheld reported here last month. After two illegal aliens in Montgomery County were arrested for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl repeatedly, WJLA’s Kevin Lewis revealed on WMAL that “jail officials are not only forbidden from calling ICE officials regarding illegal alien inmates but also that ICE is forbidden from even entering the jail.”

Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins blamed Montgomery County’s policies for allowing illegal immigrants to commit crimes and “jeopardizing public safety.”

“It’s really outrageous,” Jenkins told “Fox & Friends.” Monday.

“What they’ve done now is galvanize the fact that you can come into Montgomery county, commit a crime as an illegal alien and you won’t feel the consequence,” he said.

“You’ll be prosecuted for the state crime but then once you’re adjudicated, once you’re released back on the streets, to potentially commit more crimes against the citizens,’ Jenkins said.

Coglianese told Carlson that the situation has gotten so bad, “cops and prosecutors are furious and they’re taking matters into their own hands. They want these stories out there.”

The talk show host said that he recently interviewed Elrich, who had no explanation for the recent spate of illegal alien sex crimes.

“He doesn’t have explanations, he blames a lot,” Coglianese said. “He points fingers at the federal government for allowing illegal immigrants to be in the area. He said illegal immigration shouldn’t be considered a problem.”

Coglianese added that if liberals don’t like the laws of the country, they should work to change them.  “But in the meantime, enforce them and that’s not what they’re doing in Montgomery County,” he declared.

Coglianese went on to explain how Elrich’s executive order protecting illegal aliens was endangering the community.

“You are not allowed to allow federal agents to into jails in Montgomery County. The feds have to stand outside and catch these guys when they’re coming out of the jail. It actually makes it a more unsafe environment to have somebody ejected into the public and then caught by the feds, rather than a peaceful prisoner transfer,” Coglianese explained.

He noted that ICE officials already have probable cause to make the arrests and have issued detainers, but Montgomery County refuses to work with them.

Coglianese added that shockingly, ICE agents have actually identified MS-13 gang members serving time in jail and begged Montgomery County not to release the notoriously vicious criminals into the public. “And then they release them,” he said matter-of-factly.

The MS-13 thug just “looks at these jailers in the face, he smiles and walks out the door,” Coglianese told Carlson.
