Warren Uses Campaign Bully Pulpit to Pile on Pro-Israel Trump Donor

The #resistance beat goes on targeting  GOP donors and their involvement with all things Trump. Presidential hopeful and Senator Elizabeth Warren reported for duty on Twitter, participating in the disturbing trend of criminalizing political differences.

Is this a fight to end corruption or a fight to use government agencies as weapon against political enemies? The “good Samaritans” at the DoJ cloaked themselves in virtuous intentions when they decided to use the federal intelligence apparatus to cook up a fake Russia-collusion hoax to stop Trump.

AP explains about the investigation:

Prosecutors appear to be investigating whether Broidy exploited his access to Trump for personal gain and violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, which makes it illegal for U.S. citizens to offer foreign officials “anything of value” to gain a business advantage. Things of value in this case could have been an invitation to the January 2017 inaugural events or access to Trump.

“Exploited his access to Trump for personal gain”?? That’s literally the business model inside the beltway. All of the sudden, offering inauguration tickets to people you know or work with merits a federal investigation? Whatever happened to the Clinton donors who spent the night in the Lincoln bedroom by the way? Or the foreign governments who donated to the Clinton Global Initiative when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State? Where were the “good Samaritans” at that time?

If you don’t think this is just another deranged witch hunt for a Trump supporter, this new investigation is the second one targeting Trump donors.

The Brooklyn probe appears to be distinct from an inquiry by Manhattan federal prosecutors into the inaugural committee’s record $107 million fundraising and whether foreigners unlawfully contributed.

The information used by the various “investigators” as evidence against Broidy were the product of a suspicious email hack.

Several of the names included in the subpoena also appeared in a cache of leaked emails anonymously distributed last year to several news organizations, including the AP. Broidy has contended the emails were hacked from his account, and that several of the documents were altered or forged. His attorneys declined to specify to the AP which emails they believed were doctored.

Warren isn’t the only Democrat to encourage this abuse of government power and harassment of political opponents, Senator Dick Blumenthal (D-Conn.) joined her in the original letter requesting the DoJ to investigate Broidy.
