Patriot News Daily: NY Democrat Wants to Make it a Hate Crime to Call Police on Black People

“We’ve long felt that the legal category of ‘hate crime’ was unnecessary, easily abused, and redundant. If you commit a crime against someone, the sentence should fit the parameters of that crime. Sorry, but assault does not become more heinous when the perpetrator is a racist or the victim is a gay man. […]What it does, unfortunately, is open up a can of worms where anti-free speech Democrats can begin stretching the definition of a hate crime to fit their needs and pander to their minority constituents. Such is what we’re seeing in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, where New York State Senator Jesse Hamilton wants to make it a prosecutable hate crime whenever a person calls the police on a law-abiding person of color. Hawkins: Louisiana AG: We’re Not Going to Let Corporations Restrict ‘Ability to Legally Access Firearms’

“During the August 18, 2018, airing of Breitbart News Saturday, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry explained that he  chose, in part, to withhold $600 million from Citigroup and Bank of America because they are ‘trying to become the social police.’ The decision to withhold the money came after Citigroup and Bank of America each unilaterally placed gun control demands on their customers, going so far as to stipulate that bank-sponsored gun regulations had to be followed if financing was desired.”

Horowitz: According to judges, Trump is bound by Obama, not the law and the Constitution

“Another day, another federal judge demanding that Trump continue an unlawful, discretionary policy of the Obama administration. Yesterday, South Carolina District Judge David Norton, a George W. Bush appointee, ruled that the Trump administration didn’t offer proper notice when it countermanded Obama’s ‘Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule.’ Consequently, he is mandating that the EPA and Army Corps of Engineers continue regulating private property that contains streams, pools, and drainage ditches as commercial waters, in contravention of law.”
