In case you missed it, American Greatness publisher Chris Buskirk had a short commentary in Tuesday’s USA Today (actually, a counterpoint to the newspaper’s editorial) on James Comey’s preposterous new book.
Buskirk writes, among other things: “Comey reveals in his book that he was influenced by the widespread assumption that Clinton would win, and he didn’t want to conceal information that could later taint her presidency. That doesn’t sound much like the by-the-book, removed-from-politics lawman Comey was supposed to be.” Nope. Sure doesn’t.
In related news, D.C.-area booksellers planned for Fire and Fury-like crowds to scoop up Comey’s tome. What they got instead, CNN reports, was a bunch of journalists milling around, stinking up the place.
