Sebastian Gorka on Donald Trump’s ‘America First’ Foreign Policy

Dr. Sebastian Gorka, deputy assistant to the president, joined American Greatness publisher Chris Buskirk on the radio Monday afternoon to discuss Donald Trump’s  new “America First” foreign policy and how it’s working.

“America First is reinstating America’s place in the world,” Gorka told Buskirk.

President Trump, Gorka said, has helped the Right break out of the false dichotomy of isolationism versus neoconservatism in foreign policy.

“We say American interest comes first,” Gorka said. “But that doesn’t mean we act alone.”

What does that mean for U.S. grand strategy and our relations with Iran, China, and Russia? • This is guaranteed to weaken our position in the world. Unfortunately, America’s esteem has fallen 50% since Trump took office. We don;t need to assert our power, everyone is aware of it. They noes fear we will misuse it. We need allies and so far Trump has gained ground with Poland and lost ground with everyone else. We will pay a price for this.
